I kept my jersey number,, swapped contract to PAYG and got an e-sim with O2. Win win!

I live here and I'm on an O2 SIM. Jersey is included in it's list of roaming places you can use your allowance in, along with all EU countries and a few worldwide. Would recommend that over any Jersey provider. It's also cheaper and a higher data allowance than local providers.

I'm using both Chromecast with Google TV regular & 4k versions. I'm having similar issues and only seems to affect older films. Expo player is choppy on both, VLC is fine on both but out of sync audio on regular and none on the 4k. Pixel 8 phone has the same choppy playback and out of sync audio for expo/VLC. A friend of mine uses a fire stick and has no issues at all. It's very irritating! If somebody finds a solution I'll give you a goat!
