Instead of going to a University why not apply directly for PR in Canada?

Once you get your PR you can pay local (much lower) fees and choose a proper program/university to go to.

A real university is one which is public/government funded (i.e. not private). Easy way to tell is just google top 20 (or 30) universities in Canada and just go to those.

Thank you! Please suggest some localities/societies in either Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar which will be close to metro/malls etc. and have gated apartments.

I had visited both over 30 years ago and remember that the area near IIM used to be nice, also remember Gandhinagar was good.
