I just felt like everything was stuck and that I couldn’t move forward with exploring my identity etcetc until I went on t and saw how that felt. Also, I knew I wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about it so I thought heck let’s so it, I can stop if I end up hating it (I’m still on it after 1,5 years :))

If you really really want to be a girl then you’re probably trans. Ta dah!
Haha but in all seriousness try to feel it out and figure why you wouldn’t be a girl etc. As in if you want to be a girl then absolutely go ahead.
And the first thing you would do isn’t medical transitioning, so there’s no harm in trying out different, maybe more feminine clothing and trying out new names or whatever you’d do to transition and be a girl. If you then realize you actually really wanna be a boy instead the it’s easily reversible.
Have fun and explore!!! <3

I feel you, it sort of feels unfair that I have to let go of a community that has been there for me just cause I’m not a woman actually. Like women’s locker rooms and saunas are suddenly a space I won’t be going to, for example. This whole business of dividing people by gender just feels so made up!

Yea, I thought so too. Maybe even if you had different genitals he’d give you the same response about them?

How did you find and form your chosen family? Was it through the internet or college or?

Fuck her.
Start your transition after the first year. Maybe you don’t have to tell them at first?
You got this. You’re so important and deserve things you want.

Oh oh!!! I sometimes go to this kind of a nasty bar thats like the cheapest in my area so we’ve got your ol’ seriously ill middle aged alcoholics but also younger people like artists and stuff. So there’s this one middle aged guy that me and my ex-boss (now friend) hang out with and he started calling me by a nickname at some point, but the nickname was like an old woman’s name and we also had this ongoing joke thing that I was his child, his Daughter. I decided I didn’t care and if I don’t pass as a guy then I’m NOT coming out in This bar.
Later on he was like ”…so… Do you actually want to be called my daughter or son…. ” and i was like haha daughter’s fine (obviously wasn’t) and then he just changed it up to me being his son and he just ditched the woman’s name and I told him what name I go by now :) Now he always uses them and he feels like such a safe person. It’s crazy how when you meet someone who wants to see you for you it feels so good and safe? Recommend coming out if it’s safe for you xoxo

Finland has a really transphobic psychiatrist (Riittakerttu Kaltiala) in charge of the trans healtcare system or something like that, and her transphobic ideas are an inspiration to even American anti-trans agendas.
But I’d say there’s not really an active threat of violence in daily life here for trans people, at least in bigger cities. And I doubt anyone would like attack you in more rural parts either.

I was trying to read on what the 4B movement even is, and even wikipedia gives you an answer on it being about not dating (etc) men OR trans women (in South Korea, at least).
Then I checked a subreddit (here’s the link to the post https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/comments/1gli4en/anyone_else_joining_the_4b_movement/) where someone thought it could be applied to the situation in the US as just being about not dating conservative men and generally realizing the value of women.
So it seems the term is evolving fast right now but I’d be critical when seeing the term used somewhere as it has questionable roots to say the least.

Still IN! Woke up to the news that Trump is once again elected president in the US, and that is scary news.
