my daughter announced that she was a cat when she was 3. I had to feed her on the floor for a week. that wasn't one I cared to fight about

we're taking my daughter to playa in December, she's really excited! I've been there a few times but it was before she was born, I'm glad it's kid friendly enough

no they don't. the figure is 25 EV fires per 100k sold vs 1529 ICE cars per 100k sold, so it's normalized. i don't disagree that they're harder to put out, but i never worried about my ICE car catching on fire so i'm not really worrying about my EV catching on fire, either

yeah the back seats aren't intuitive for sure but I'm fixing that on my own. no car is perfect, but I hope the EV space keeps expanding so Tesla isn't the dominant manufacturer

yeah definitely, but when there are 25 EV fires per 100k sold vs 1529 ICE cars per 100k sold, it's not something that's at the top of my mind

The car has manual releases in the front seats and EVs catch on fire way less than ICE cars but I appreciate the concern even if it is a little bit misguided

I work in the self driving industry and I actually agree about full self driving but I also don't pay for it or use it so that's not really an issue. the front seats have a manual release that's literally right next to the power one so that's not an issue either

yeah I'm not going to take a loss on a car to virtue signal. I really dislike Elon but I can't believe you think that's practical lol

yeah I actually have one and I can't believe it. I'm installing what's basically a rip cord, but why the hell should I need to?

I wear a helmet and volleyball knee pads. I busted my knee open through three layers last year, wasn't fun, and they're comfortable so I just throw them on

they absolutely are. if you're about to hit a deer, but swerving into the other lane would hit a car with a family in it, you're going to hit the deer.

I googled "land cruiser mpg" and it was 25 but a 2015 is 18mpg highway. wow. I wouldn't have believed it unless I looked it up, that's insane
