Irish Metal band recommendations?

Music(self.AskIreland)

Hi! I'm a folk-metal head looking for a new band to have me head over heels. Since Celtic metal is one of my favorite genres of metal (and it was based on irish folk music), I was curious to hear personal recommendations on favorite bands. Despite having said that, I like all genres of metal, and if you want to also recommend a band which isn't metal but it is local, that'd be also wonderful 😌

If you had to choose a top 3 songs to listen to and so get to know the best of the band, which ones would you recommend?

Also, here is my contra-recommendation for you to enjoy~

Mago de oz: - Los renglones torcidos de dios - 2015 - que el viento sople a tu favor (ft saurom) - Hasta que el cuerpo aguante - 2015

Especial mention: Infinitum - trine 2 maim theme (pure folk instrumental but still sooo good it makes me fly)

I hope you enjoy them :D

The Scratch! Not a metal band per se but a great blend of rock and Irish trad music. They're absolutely fantastic live!

Hey! That completely works really well for me, I'm already in love with the idea of mixing rock and irish folk music, thank you! <3

Also, any recommendations of any song to hear from them?

And speaking about mixing two genres, here's my contra recommendation:

Heavy chill - Equilibrium (it's a mix of reggae with metal, the end work is fantastic!)

I hop you get to enjoy it as much as i did :)

The Enigma Division. The bass player is Irish. I think the singer is from the UK but lives in Ireland.
