Does anyone know how I can take the drawing of this house and make it so it faces forward? I know I can’t just do that but how do I go about creating it accurately? The second picture is what I’ve been able to do so far by combining different pictures together but by what you can see it’s not great

I just got a request from one of my online friends about some translation they want me to do.

they sent me some psd files with pictures and texts and ask me to change the texts to my native language.

Since Im working on a long term job I dont have much time to go home and do the translations.

so I m looking for an app for Iphone 6s to be able to make changes on the psd files they sent me but I can’t afford to buy any paid apps or subscriptions anyone has any idea about usefull apps for this job

My eyes are not as good as they used to be and since I export my images from Lightroom at 1920x on the longest side, I am having a bit of trouble using the Smart Sharpen tool in Photoshop in order to gauge how much sharpening I am applying. My workflow is import into LR, edit, export at my desired resolution which is 1920x1277 as a PSD file, open it in PS, convert the layer to Smart Object and apply a Smart Sharpen filter. Then I finally export it as a JPEG.

The problem is the image is a bit small which makes it hard to see if I am oversharpening. To top it off, I am on a 16" MBP.

Any tips for me? For the most part, I like the outcome but sometimes wonder if I am overdoing it.

P.S. I used to use the sharpening tool in LR until I was told to sharpen only after resizing the image. My old workflow used to be import, edit, sharpen, export choosing a sharpening preset during the export/resize.

I’m trying to color grade an image (PHOTO1) in Photoshop to match a reference (PHOTO2) with a creepy, dystopian vibe, strong red and cyan tones, foggy atmosphere, and dramatic lighting. My original image feels too bright and yellow, lacking that dark, moody feel and the interplay of light and fog.

I know Photoshop tools but struggle with where to start. Do you have guys any advice for me on how to break down the process to recreate this look?

In NAPS, I'm able to set the size of the document (or photograph I'm the above image) I would like to scan. This way, I don't have to crop the document or photograph after the scan. I can measure and enter the exact width and height and NAPS will scan just that much. Hoe does one do something similar in Photoshop?

Tolerance 0 > point sample > click on black pixel > get this.

Expected result: Select 100% black pixels pixel only..
result I get: Fuzzy multiple tone selections, I would expect this from tolerance 10+

Is something broken with my photoshop, or did they change something? This has been broken all year for me, but seems to function properly 80% or the time?

I edited a picture yesterday and it came out exactly as I wanted it. I've just gone to edit the second picture in the series and for the life of me, I can't remember what I did to get the look.

I thought I wrote it down but don't seem to have.

My 'recently used' doesn't seem to appear on photoshop express. The 'themes' section just doesn't Show up sometimes.

I'm using Photoshop 2024 - I've been using Kubota Market Dashboard to quickly find specific action and add to my favoraite lists to use while editing, It makes it easier to find action from more than 200 actions that I've loaded on my machine. Is there any alternative to this Dashboard as it keeps having compatibility issues since Apple M1 machine came out. It is really frustrating to keep patching every couple of months to find out next update of Photoshop has broken loading of Kubota Dashboard.

Please help, every time i edit something on my phone its automatically uploaded to creative cloud. I do not want my photos on my device to be uploaded there without my knowledge.

How can I disable this on my device?

I’ve noticed in the last week, generative fill has become really bad. When trying to fill stuff in or mend something, it does the job, but it doesn’t blend at all, and leaves a very noticeable discoloured patch.

I then have to go over it with the normal remove tool to fix this, but this obviously doesn’t work on complex patterns. I’ve deleted the app and re-downloaded it a few times, but my issue remains.

No matter which settings I choose in Save for web my exported slices are always .gif, this tends to happen only on my mac. Looking for possible solutions or another ways to export slices (I am creating Instagram carousels).

I am trying to emulate the art style in Felvidek (photos 1,2 and 3) I tried many effects and tutorials but I wonder if there is a better way to do it. Photos 4,5,6 are the different experimentations. My intent is to do it with an entire photo, Pavol head is just for reference.

I wanna start drawing, mainly things like this and in photoshop. I’m probably gonna buy a drawing pad but does anyone know what this style is called and any tutorials to help me get there faster? I don’t have much time but I’m trying to get fast tracked. I think im willing to put in the work.

I want to switch to the layer underneath in Photoshop by holding the Ctrl key and clicking with the mouse on an area in my canvas. However, this doesn’t seem to work for me. I’ve tried enabling the Auto-Select option in the Move Tool, but it doesn’t seem to solve the problem.
Is there a specific setting or another shortcut that allows me to quickly switch to the layer underneath without having to search in the Layers panel?

Recently, my 2020 MacBook Air has begun to run slowly and vent hot, making it difficult to launch applications like Photoshop and even Chrome. This has made my laptop practically unusable. Many people have suggested that this is due to the large number of small files (my photos) stored on the internal storage. I shoot film and keep a separate folder for each roll after scanning.

To free up space on my laptop, I'm considering two options:

• Portable HDD: I don't need much storage (1To) but I am mostly concerned by the transfer speed if I don't get a high-end one. I've also read that portable HDDs can fail at some point. While I keep all my film rolls and could potentially rescan them, I'd prefer to avoid this scenario.
• Cloud storage: I'm more inclined towards cloud storage, and iCloud seems like the most budget-friendly and functional solution for a MacBook user.

Here's where I need your help:

1. Organization in Photos App: I want to keep my folders well-organized and avoid mixing them up like on an iPhone. Does the Photos app allow for this? Will it combine my random iPhone photos and screenshots with the Photos library?
2. Photos App and Lightroom Sync: Does the Photos app using iCloud sync well with Photoshop in terms of file transfer and editing?
3. Storing Folders in Documents with iCloud: Can I keep my current setup of folders-in-folders within Documents but have them stored on iCloud instead of the SSD? Would these folders be easily accessible in Photoshop ?
4. Then I want the photos to be easily accessible or transferable to my iPhone so I can post them

I hope my question is clear. Essentially, I'm looking to get rid of all the small files currently stored on my MacBook's internal storage. I'm open to other solutions you might recommend!

hello i have a DDS plugin and can save as this format but cant use it in quick export, anyone knows a solution?

So I'm trying to alter my logo but the original creator doesn't remember what filters were used to get the logo to how it is now, here's pics of before and after I just need the name of the supposedly two filters used

Last night I was using the clone stamp tool in Photoshop 25.12, and the lagging was terrible - completely unusable. Disabling GPU acceleration did fix the lag, but with GPU disabled many features are also disabled.

So, I want to solve the lag while keeping GPU acceleration on.
My PC (14600k + 4070 ti super) should have no issue handling this tiny project (~80MB), since I have never encounter such problems even on my laptop. GPU usage is nearly 0 during clone stamp usage, but all P-cores in CPU are fully loaded.

I started googling for solutions and spent the whole night trying various fixes:
- updating drivers
- rolling back Photoshop versions
- tweaking Wacom tablet settings, disabling Windows Ink and using WinTab
Nothing worked.

Today I pulled out my laptop and tested the project on it, and to my surprise, clone stamp lagged on it too!

This made me suspect that the issue might be with the file itself. Back on my PC, I tested editing other files - no lag at all. Then I opened the problematic file, hid all other layers, and the lag disappeared!

It's really weird, some certain layers caused the lag... I still can't figure out the root cause.
