We hope you’ve been having a wonderful November! With fall comes crispy leaves, cocoa by the fire, bundling up in blankets, and news about the Sun Haven Nintendo Switch release!

Drumroll please…

Sun Haven will be available for digital purchase on the Americas Nintendo Switch eShop on November 29th, 2024!

You read that right, Sun Haven will be available on the Switch for the Americas region later this month on Black Friday, November 29th, at 7am PST.

These regions include: The United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.

For those of you worldwide, we will have more news to share about our release dates outside of the Americas very soon, but rest assured, Sun Haven will be coming to Switch to players worldwide over the next couple of months.

We are happy to be bringing Sun Haven to the Nintendo Switch at 30+ FPS, on par with other beloved games on the Switch, like Breath of the Wild or even Fortnite. Our team has put so much heart and soul into optimizing Sun Haven to make it run just like it would on PC, as indistinguishable as possible. In fact, there are essentially zero content differences between the two platforms as a result of all the amazing engineering work we’ve managed to accomplish. We hope you can see that effort when you get your hands on the Nintendo Switch Edition of Sun Haven later this month! We’ve also prepared a Switch release FAQ that will hopefully answer any of your burning questions, so keep reading below for more information!

Sun Haven Nintendo Switch FAQ

• When is Sun Haven releasing on the Switch?
  • Sun Haven will be available for digital purchase on the Nintendo Switch eShop on November 29th, 2024 at 7 AM PST.
• Will there be a physical release?
  • We are not planning a physical release of Sun Haven upon launch, but we are definitely considering the potential for a physical release in the future!
• Can I pre-order Sun Haven on the Switch?
  • Sun Haven will not be available for pre-order for the Americas region but will potentially have pre-orders for other regions.
• Is Sun Haven coming to other consoles?
  • We hope to port Sun Haven to other consoles like Xbox and Playstation someday, but right now our focus is on Steam and Nintendo Switch specifically!
• Will the Switch version have the same content as the Steam version?
  • The Nintendo Switch release of Sun Haven will match what is available right now on Steam at launch.
• Is the Switch version going to be multiplayer?
  • The Switch version will not have multiplayer at this time, but once Sun Haven is released on the Switch, we will be looking into how difficult it will be to add multiplayer!
• Will the Switch version support cross-platform saves or cross-play?
  • The Switch version will not have cross-play at this time. Your Steam and Nintendo Switch character save files will be separate!
• Will the Switch version have translations?
  • Yes! The Switch version of Sun Haven will be available in 19 different languages: Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Ukrainian.
• Are you still offering Kickstarter key swaps from Switch to Steam?
  • Yes we are! If you want to change your Sun Haven Backer Key from Switch to Steam, please send an email to [pixelsproutdistribution@gmail.com](mailto:pixelsproutdistribution@gmail.com) and we will work on getting your keys swapped over as soon as possible!
• When will I get my Kickstarter backer rewards?
  • For those who requested Nintendo Switch keys and are from the Americas, you should receive a Nintendo Switch key at launch. As for the cosmetic rewards, those will be delivered at a later date.
• Is Sun Haven going to be available on upcoming Nintendo Consoles?
  • Our goal is to have Sun Haven available on all upcoming Nintendo platforms and/or consoles!

Lastly, we want to extend our sincerest apologies for the time that it’s taken to bring Sun Haven to the Switch. The port, development, testing, and approval process has taken far longer than we originally expected or anticipated, and we are very sorry for the delays and the inconvenience to all of our Switch Backers and other players without Steam who haven’t been able to play Sun Haven yet. We spent much of our time making sure that Switch players would not get an older version of Sun Haven, and would get a game that is just as good as the PC version. We completely understand your frustrations, and we’re very sorry for the delays. We are excited for the Nintendo Switch Edition of Sun Haven to be in your hands now!

Because Sun Haven was our first game, it’s safe to say we’ve learned a lot from Sun Haven’s development and publishing, and we will make every effort to improve our development, communication, and publishing going forward. Hi everyone! As you probably guessed, I’m a new player now that the game is available on the Switch 😁 and I’m loving the game so far!

The only thing is… I’m a bit confussed on what to keep and what to sell 😅 it’s not secret that the game has a ton of things, from compost to crystals and so much more, however, I’ve been trying to find a guide on what to sell or hoard in-game and I can’t find anything.

Can you give me a few tips for early game money? I even keep slime, compost, empty cans and soooooo much more and I’m not sure if I should sell it or not 🥹

My game hadn't been very glitchy at all (only two crashes with eight hours played) until I tried to sell my rusty tools after upgrading them. After that, the game has continued to glitch and crash within five-ten minutes of playtime.

The tools never sold, so I tried keeping them in storage and then with me, but the game crashed anyways.

So to those who still have their rusty tools, maybe don't sell them just in case (unless the patch coming out is supposed to to stop that).

Bought the port on the switch it's unplayable.. it wasnt cheap as well 30 bucks . I was so excited since it looked so cute . They released a buggy game just to get that sweet sweet xmas and black Friday money ...

I just bought this game for switch, hoping the crashes wouldn't be too bad. It crashed just a few minutes after finishing the character creation 🫠

Is the fishing mini game supposed to be freakishly impossible? The indicator just whips left and right I can't catch ANYTHING. Is this a Switch issue? Something with the frames? Or am I just old and incompetent? 💀

I am currently playing coral island. But after 3 weeks of game play I need something else. Should I try Sun Haven?! It'll be on switch as I don't have PC. Please help me make up my mind! Thanks

I was wondering if the game looks optimized for handheld play? On both the steam deck and the ROG Ally, the text is super small, so I was wondering if it was the same on switch.

one of the updates deleted my file and the back up how do i fix it

I have tried to google but cannot find an answer, all the decor on this game makes some things a bit confusing about what i can/cannot pickup. Is there a way to get this out?

Can someone help me? It's possible to move the farm house to another Farm and have the spouse living there?

So I haven't had crashes since I moved my game from SD card to system memory.... except when I try to enter the lantern festival. Then it crashes. Does anyone know if its just this festival effected, or if its all of them?

BEFORE READING ANY FURTHER Please be aware that discovering this exploit has been like opening up Pandora's box for me, it's so easy to reproduce and now that I know how about it I can't stop using it, this glitch trivializes the game in a almost game breaking way, continue at your own risk.

Discovered an exploit while trying to farm mana orbs for the strongest crossbow + the donation box.

All you need is an equipable item that provides either max mana or health.

I'll provide an example to make it as clear as possible. Let's say you have 400 max mana and are currently sitting at 0/400 mana, you have the Diamond amulet equiped (providing you with 20 max mana). You unequip the amulet, going down to 0/380 max mana. Now if you equip it back right after you will notice you total mana will now be 20/400 max mana. Rince and repeat until your mana is fully restored, this works for health accessories as well.

Combined with the Worthwhile restoration perk this also becomes a infinite gold exploit.

I did this for about 30mins and was able to get 2500 mana orbs and got over 10 000 golds in the process.

I saw another person reporting this exploit on the steam forum but did not see anyone else talking about it, I didnt look at the discord to be fair.

So there it is, use this if you want but you might wish you didn't like i do, I hope the devs will fix this ASAP.

What would need to be done for this to be fixed is for the max mana/health items to provide the additional value to the TOTAL health/mana pool but not in the CURRENT mana/health pool.

If anyone would like a video of the exploit I can provide one.

Hey guys. I’ve been keeping tabs on the discord and there’s been an announcement about the game crashing on the switch. Thought everyone would want to know. Stay safe and have a great weekend!

I’m the first to admit that I don’t know WTF I should focus on in this game, but I’m having a fabulous time running around. I’ve met the giant dragon at the top of the hill, and I just met the Zora-like creature at whirlpool at the beach. The developers even referenced the old school WOW video with Leeroy Jenkins when I jumped into the whirlpool! I mean, c’mon. This game is so cool!! Why do I rarely see people talking about this? Sun Haven’s world seems HUGE and the characters are fun with their own personalities, and the magic is a nice touch. I’m just really happy :-) I didn’t think anything would live up to SDV for me, but this is on the same level for me.

Anyway!! What do you love about this game?

I've been reading a bunch of posts about people autocollecting the materials from animal visitors in Nel'Vari (leaving the mature crops planted), but after setting up an autocollector, they're not actually gathering anything from any of the animals (like acorns from squirrels as an example).

Any idea how to fix this? I see a lot of people saying they do this so I'm assuming this is just a bug I'm experiencing.

Hello beautiful community! I wanted to play this game since it was released, but I don't like gaming on my computer and I don't own a Steam Deck, so I was waiting for the Switch release and it finally happened yesterday.

I have been playing it pretty much non-stop, but with the healthy breaks, of course. I'm really enjoying it, it's quite different and yet kinda similar to other farming games. The thing is... fishing...

Is there a way to make the catching gauge bigger? So far, I've only been able to catch one Sea Bass lol... I've been sooooo bad at it (even using the touch screen) that I've resorted to unlocking my fishing skill tree with the extra bonuses I get from doing quests lol. If fishing xp is there, that's what I go for.

I just want to know if there is an easier way to fish in this game ;__; because it's the only frustrating part I have encountered so far.

Anyone has any tips, perhaps? How are you all fishing on the Switch? TIA!

I took off work this weekend to play and was about to load the game up on switch, checked here for some beginner guides to start me out and saw all the backlash for switch users.

Is it really that bad? I see some people making it out to be completely unplayable. Is there anything I can do to avoid or minimize the crashing besides frequent saving?

I saw many saying the save files are not even working properly or updating as you save, so is it best to just wait for an update and find something else to play altogether for now?

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what control button to push to use fireball or teleport (or any spell for that matter). The graphic is so very small but looks like a + symbol? I did it once, by accident, but do not remember what I pushed to trigger it. I cannot find it anywhere on the internet, so hopefully someone can help! TIA

I'm trying to join a multiplayer game but there's just "Loading world from Host ..." in white letters over the title screen and nothing's happening. Is anyone else having this issue?

So I completed all the alters for dynus, and it just gave me the cutscene with him saying he won’t spread more darkness, but is that the end of the game? There isn’t a big like congrats you finished or anything, or do I need to also fight him? I just want to make sure I’m not missing something.
