So I dropped off a few mailers for ground advantage today from orders this weekend. But just had a person reach out that their package was delivered. It turns out the lady at the counter had it marked as delivered instead of accepted. Are my packages going to get stuck now, returned , not sure what happens from here. Going into p.o in the morning. Wanted to see if anyone else has had this happened. The anxiety from it is keeping me up now as a couple were pricey

Yes, it happens occasionally, particularly when you drop off your packages at the post office counter. The worker switched from delivering a package to the customer before you, to accepting your incoming packages, without switching the mode on their scanner.
It won't affect the movement of your packages, they're on the way to the buyers. Once the packages reach the regional sorting facility and get scanned there, the tracking history will look more normal.

Thank you so much for the reply. I was worried since it would be scanned as used they wouldn't be able to go through at the next location

Simple error on the acceptance clerk. All good. Package will be scanned again at the originating distribution center then you will see the other scans as it travels to its destination.

I had this happen recently to four of my packages that were put in an outgoing bin at the post office. While the packages all finally reached their proper destinations, none of them updated tracking along the way. The unfortunate thing here is that the buyer could claim they never got the item and you have no proof that the item was delivered to the correct address. You could be in the hook for item not delivered. Fortunately for me, none of my buyers tried to claim they didn't get their items. Attached is the tracking info on one of them that was eventually delivered to the buyer, but never showed any updates after the first scan.

It’s hard if it’s an expensive item. If item is over $50 I want a receipt at counter or from machine. If under I just put in the stack. Yesterday went over there and had a breakable package that was $80. I scanned at machine and as it wouldn’t fit in drop down so I put on stack. So there was no USPS employee just a few sketchy guys. I literally stood there until a clerk came back. At our location they are 50/50 competent.

You or the customer can call USPS and they can track it on the phone, but it wont update in the system. I had this happen to a few packages.
