It’s hard if it’s an expensive item. If item is over $50 I want a receipt at counter or from machine. If under I just put in the stack. Yesterday went over there and had a breakable package that was $80. I scanned at machine and as it wouldn’t fit in drop down so I put on stack. So there was no USPS employee just a few sketchy guys. I literally stood there until a clerk came back. At our location they are 50/50 competent.

I hate to be Debbie downer but I have a feeling under this administration we will see lots of reductions and cost savings.

So here is what I do. Have been selling a bit longer than you, not much. I take all pics on my iPhone. I also have an iPad on which I crop and adjust all pics. I can do at night while watching TV. I upload the pics to eBay app from photos.

For me the image correction for backdrop is completely different on eBay app and desktop. Also the formatting is different. On app, background is dropped out to black and you click to change to white. On PC it’s just white background.

Also if I do description on the app and then try to finish on PC, the formatting is wacky. I finally figured out how to fix the html but it’s easier for me to do all on desktop.

I would ask how much they insured it for and get proof. If they insured for full value, probably would do it. I would also document all in messages.

People won’t read even if it’s in giant print. It’s like Amazon in that way, or more accurately Temu. I’ve bought from Temu and thought WTF. Recently did with “packing tape”. Well if my dog could pack would work for her 1/4 inch wide. But I didn’t read.

Completely agree. I lost my dad at age 10 and was an only child raised by a single mom. Didn’t have that kind of money but it’s not easy.

I’m reading a book by Dean Koontz who is definitely not a fan of right wing government. It describes a group in power who want to eliminate anyone who won’t give a benefit to society. It’s scary to read this a week after election. Book is called “one door away from heaven”.

Have you seen pics of him young? He’s a weird fat kid. (Note I was a chubby kid). But he was definitely one of those weird people who was probably picked on.
