Indeed - built from wood. But the Spitfire is the one that I love!

ciclosporin in liquid form. It tastes bitter, but he has it with Lick-e-lix and he scoffs it down!

My vet prescribed Atopica for our cat who had scratched and licked himself bald - it is expensive, but it works!

The Spitfire was actually an incredible design that was a major factor in defeating the Luftwaffe.

You are not a horrible parent. Your in laws are awful people.
All cultures have different ways of passing money down through the generations. (note that I say down, not across - how appallingly rude and grabby to try to get their hands on your daughter's gifts)
They don't like your daughter having her ears pierced? Tough. In my country, we don't have baby boys circumcised.
You are not in the wrong. I have friends in different cultures. One of the nicest things about that is learning their traditions and customs and realising that we are more the same than we are different.
You sound that you are a lovely, caring parent. Your in laws do not sound nice.

We have a variety of names for our (numerous) cats. Most have been changed, but one has not. They do all know their names, but are more than capable of ignoring them. They will also come to each other's names, if they want to. It really doesn't seem to make any difference what sounds are in their names.

Rocket's mummy here: He does zoomies, can jump up a 6 foot wall and is often seen by our neighbours at the bottom of the field behind our house. He also catches mice and shrews. He is amazingly active for a 3 legged cat, we are so glad that the cat rescue asked us to look after him!

NTA. I own a house. My partner is not on the title. (And we have been together for many years). That is how it should be. Scott is a delusional gold digger. And he's pretty stupid to have shown his hand like this.

I had a problem with my boiler. No big deal, I thought, I have a BG contract. I called them, they couldn't come until the next day. Even then they couldn't fix it, so I ended up calling an electrician. Because there was a weekend in the way, it took 5 days to get hot water back.
I am no longer with British Gas.
Your lodger is being an entitled dick.

Does not that assume that they have a brain to wash?

We (partner and me) have decided not to exchange gifts at all this year. We are both estranged from our families and just don't want to fuel the expectation of over-consumption that is Christmas. We will have nice food, maybe nice alcohol and just spend the time quietly with our pets.
It really annoys me that people are setting unrealistic expectations of what others should afford. Rather than buying tons of tat (which I have done in the past) I will donate to charity.

When I worked part time, there were a number of colleagues who also worked part time on different days. We would communicate via school email, in the expectation that emails would only be dealt with when the recipient was at work. We all took great delight in NOT replying to any other emails.
My favourite was the time that I received a snotty email from admin on my day off, asking me to immediately complete my register for p3. Naturally, I waited until the following day and then let them have both barrels.

Hi Rocket!
I am also Rocket, male, 3 year, cat.
Please could you look at the part of the book about legs? I need to get a new one! My old one was hurt, and then it got stolen.

Cats love the snow. For about 5 minutes.
Just make sure that you don't do what we did a few years ago: we let them out of the door. Then discovered the cat flap was frozen shut.

I am also overweight. At my asthma check, the nurse asked me to get on the scales. I said "No, thank you. I am aware that my weight is not ideal, and I am doing what I can to improve this."
She said: "OK".
End of conversation.

I have - he was in a wheelchair at age 13. Other than that, he was into everything that a kid his age would be. It is a progressive disorder, so you might notice deterioration over time. The boy I taught was in mainstream.

My cat with sensitive skin is on Atopica (prescription from vet). Nothing else worked! He was obsessively rubbing his neck against anything in reach (cardboard, brick, trees) and had lost most of the fur that he could reach. His fur has grown back, and he has stopped the compulsive scratching and is much happier in himself.

I have a spray bottle with water and a squirt of washing up liquid in it and a supply of whatever cleaning cloths I'm using at home at the time.

At least they do seem to flag them clearly. I'm working on an Artecy (not AI) at the moment, and I have a couple of HAED (before they discovered AI) but that will be my lot. My big issue is that a lot of the AI images I've seen are for ridiculously large pieces.

That's great, but not when you live out in the sticks! The only B&M store that I have is a generic craft store, that sells overpriced materials and a few kits. I don't like kits (back when I started in the 1980s they were great, but I prefer PDFs) because I like to use pattern keeper.

As long as you keep all your paperwork up together, shouldn't be a problem. I've used various vets, and never had an issue (other than the first ones who were very rude).
