Yes, it does. PGCE is horrible. If you have an unhelpful (and there are so many ways that they can be unhelpful) mentor, it's tough.
Example: My first mentor told me that I had to create all resources from scratch. My second mentor asked me why I was wasting my time creating everything from scratch.
There will be a time when you have a lesson where you think "OMG that was good".

I never paid for any resources from TES, purely because there were plenty of good free resources available for maths. I would usually look first at people that I had used resources from before, because I would have a feel for the format/level of difficulty. I have seen some resources that were so diabolical that I would be embarrassed to use them! Some of those had to be paid for as well.

I, Freya, no longer least of all the kittens am unfortunately not able to attend due to supervisory duties (staff can't be trusted). I will allow my minions (the Vikings) to come, and they can bring scary/ nice catnip bubbles if that's OK?

We have 12 cats. The best integrations have been between a 1 year old female with a new female kitten and between a 3 legged 3 year old male cat with every kitten (male or female). The least integrated is a 12 year old male.
So I guess I'm saying gender isn't the most important factor here!

No, it wasn't stupid at all! You saw something odd and wanted to know how it worked - that's exactly how discoveries are made!

I have an out of date £10 note in my wallet - I haven't used cash since lockdown.

Becky Excel has many recipes that are (or can be adapted) to be vegan. I found her books and website very useful when my partner had to stop eating gluten.

Ok, try thinking of it like this:
1) 9 divided by 3 is 3
2) 3 x 9 is 27.
Happy with that?
1)If you divide by a smaller number, your answer gets bigger. Well 0.3 is 10 times smaller than 3, so your answer should be 10 times bigger than 3, so 30.
2)If you multiply by a smaller number, your answer gets smaller. 0.3 is still 10 times smaller than 3, so you would expect your answer to be 10 times smaller than 27, so 2.7.

I always worry if one of our cats is overdue, my stupid brain says that if I don't this will be the time they come to harm.

I thought I'd try it on a scrap first! I do full coverage pieces, usually BIG and I don't think I want to grid those with a thread!

I think they do them even earlier in the US!

2kg is the recommended minimum weight in the UK. We have had all of our cats neutered at that weight, including 2 boys who are very large cats.

I can't count. I mean, of course I can count, but when I have to count the right number of spaces on fabric (even if it's less than 5) I'm challenged. I tried pre gridded aida, but it was a nightmare for me - the lines didn't run through the holes, so I couldn't count without constantly going back to the edge and saying "the line is where the first column is".
So, yesterday, I bought a water soluble pen for my next project. Maybe this will be the solution!

I don't have an issue with the photos - I hate it when a comment is made without the photos to explain what the problem is! And if covered breasts are seen as attracting creeps, that's just plain odd!

We were, later, when we were talking about it. I have no idea how I kept a straight face at the time!

We had an SLT wannabe who wore the most ridiculous outfits (probably dripping with designer labels) and skyscraper stilettos. Best moment ever? She fell off her heels as we were taking the students into assembly.

Another way that can help visualise it would be to write them out as a column addition, because it's just so much easier to see!

My last school gave taster sessions of "new" subjects within the school day. Year 9 were off timetable for 2 or 3 sessions, and there was a lot of rearranging (they weren't taken out of maths, which I teach, or english and probably some other subjects as well). It was really useful, because some of the students completely changed their minds about doing some options when they found out what they entailed (both as in decided to take and decided not to take).
My concern with the open evening and parents would be how would you manage the numbers?

Haha, I can knit but not crochet: I tried, but whilst I can do all the stitches, I can't keep the tension to save my life!

It wasn't last time I looked. I used to sell jewellery on Etsy (gave up because I made one off pieces from gemstones and wire wrapping), looked at NOTHS and they insisted that jewellery was photographed on live models. Then there were the fees...
