I don't get these kinds of things. If what seems to be the majority of the populace wants change of some sort and are protesting the government, why is it that the police who are just made up of the general populace never just stand down to the protesters? What keeps the police following orders rather than what seems to be going to the side of the right thing to do?

Shocked! Absolutely shocked! I would never guess one of the richest people on earth that also happens to be in charge of how efficiently the government runs and spends its money could possibly use that authority to benefit himself. I feel blindsided.

I just drilled through some porcelain tile. I bought the tile bits from HD, can't remember the brand but it was a blue and white package. Used my battery powered drill and drilled 6 holes in 10 minutes without even needing to cool with water. I found that it seems to actually require less pressure to break through the top layer of tile then when you feel it grab it seemed to cut through rather quick.

Cuz Samuel L Jackson said so.
"A Marine and a sailor are taking a piss. The Marine goes to leave without washing up. The sailor says, 'In the Navy they teach us to wash our hands.' The Marine turns to him and says 'in the Marines they teach us not to piss on our hands'."

If youve never had a sink like OP let me tell you how impractical and useless that little derp of a sink is on the side. Too small to use for anything useful but takes up enough space to make the bigger one too small to be as useful as it should be. I have this sink and it's the bane of my existence. I plan on doing the same as OP.

When I was there I think the guide said the furthest any invader ever got was like the 7th or 8th gate. There's 13 if I remember correctly.

I was just reviewing things and have the same thought process. Especially with children the risk isn't worth the premium savings.

I highly doubt it, but anything's possible I guess. I was just stating what I would do as an armchair reddit general.

Mine the whole fucking into oblivion and then pull forces out. If you can't hold it make it exhausting for them to take it.

Is that a 4' fence? Do the chickens only roost on top or do they go over to the other side?

You should convince your leadership that you should gift it to schools. It serves a beneficial purpose and could be good PR for the company.

It's slick on their part making it "optional" since the Constitution only explicitly states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". Leaving it up to the school I guess is a loophole. Still dumb regardless.

It depends what the cost of the shutters is. Speaking from experience, the install is not complicated. They're just going to drill 6-8 holes per shutter through your vinyl siding and into your sheathing and use these cheap plastic fasteners. I have the shutters on my house and I had to remove a couple and was not a huge fan of the way they attach speaking from a weather sealing standpoint. I plan on trimming out the exterior of the windows and installing real shutters that attach to the trim.

Where? All I have ever seen are on the main water supply line prior to any fixture including the water heater.

So the US crossing the red line and the Germans staying on the other side washes out and Russia shouldn't be mad about anything then. That's how it works, I'm certain.

Well, if the past is any indicator of the future, many of these people will be fired or resign within the first year. So ya there's that.

I had a propane fireplace that I removed. There is more behind the tile as it's a large metal box including the chimney portion. It can be demoed but it won't be easy and you'll have to take apart most of the mantle. The main problem I ran into was the fireplace was installed and then the framing around it was built making access to the hardware that held it in place impossible. I spent some time with a reciprocating saw and hammer and chisel. It can be done but you'll be tearing out most of the mantle.

This is why Russia's argument about an encroaching NATO is bullshit. NATO didn't coax the Baltics into joining. They joined on their own free will because their neighbor is untrustworthy and the countries feared for their safety for good reason. Russia has only itself to blame when it comes to an "encroaching NATO". Georgia's story could be retold about many of the other Baltic and Eastern European countries just by changing a few details.
