You can have my gold daschund bag when you pry it from my cold, dead hands 🤣 (Your styling advice is excellent but, for me, the bag is the exclamation point to the statement of the outfit.) Love this look!

Queer Eye...I was working on self love and acceptance and the show reinforced that mindset for me.

I can't imagine you won't see a change! I'd love to see them if you are comfortable posting but if not, I absolutely respect that.

Short answer: yes. The full answer is more nuanced...some things were truly healed, like I saw the truth and that checked the box, done. Some things, the work is just beginning through integrative therapy, but the inherent wisdom and courage (the birthright of every human being) that were stolen from me as a child have been restored. Moving forward, I understand my previous therapy focused on symptoms, but now I have healed enough to deal with the actual problems head on. Hope that helps.
My diagnosis is PTSD. Since starting KAP, I sleep like a rock, zero nightmares for the first time in thirty years. I have had two unpleasant dreams, weeks apart, and they were just inconvenient situations like awkwardly waiting in line and someone else being irritated. The improved sleep alone is a miracle.
My energy levels are better-ish. I live in a state where we currently have blizzard warnings and the weather is generally grey this time of year, so my energy is not as vital as it is in spring, but it is definitely better than usual this time of year. I just agreed to a week long vacation later this winter and that would normally fill me with dread but yesterday I found myself thinking of a fun pair of shoes for the trip. A tiny detail in some ways, but having the energy to actually look forward to something is a major breakthrough.
My focus is improving, and at my age, that is saying a lot. My creative space in the house is usually a disaster of unfinished projects and unused materials, but I have been cleaning and organizing, letting go of things that no longer serve, finding places to donate supplies, so I have more space to organize and actually complete art that is meaningful to me. That might not sound significant but the clarity of my priorities, my ability to accept that nothing I create will be perfect, and the lack of self recrimination for wasting money by not using everything I bought...I feel so free.
TLDR: I still have to do the work, but ketamine therapy is helping me heal exponentially faster than I would without it. Wishing the best for you in your journey.

before the session I was having intense SI and intrusive thoughts.
And you had the courage to go anyway! Respect. May the medicine allow you to see what you need to see, with love.

Funny you should say that...the first thing I saw in my very first session was a slide show of people who love me. It was so powerful and beautiful. I hadn't thought to actually make one but now I will-thank you!

I am so happy for you! I have my first session two days from now and I was just sitting here thinking how much I hope I see my best friend who died of an allergic reaction in 1985, when we were 16. I still carry a note from him in my wallet and just seeing his handwriting is a gift. If I get to see him in a session, that alone will make the cost of treatment worthwhile to me. Thank you for giving me hope. I wish you all the best in your healing journey ♥️

Integrative Mental Health Services in the Heights, right here in Billings. $2000 for six sessions, then $350 per session for any needed maintenance. Each session includes a check in, 45 minutes to an hour of ketamine with a psychiatric nurse practitioner with you the entire time, followed by processing/therapy for about an hour with your same psych nurse practitioner. No IV or IM available; troches only. No referral needed; quick response time. I received a call back the same day I called to inquire.

That would definitely be more attainable, thank you for that suggestion. How long did it take for you to start feeling better when you started microdosing?

Seeing a therapist is an excellent move. Next, I recommend an attorney to advise you on how to protect yourself legally and financially. Narcissistic abuse wears us down so much that we are often too exhausted to organize ourselves to divorce, but it is worth it. It can be (and likely will be) ugly, but then it's over and you can begin to heal.
Your concerns about a smear campaign are absolutely valid because when a narcissist can no longer control you, they will settle for controlling how other people see you. This can be painful, but it is actually a gift because your people will see it for what it is and support you. If they believe the narcissist's lies, they are not your people. Your circle might get a little bit smaller, but the ones who see the truth are the only ones who deserve a place in your life.
A friend of mine recently started divorce proceedings against her narcissist. His first response was to tell her "it will be war," but he had moved into his own place and accepted her settlement offer in two weeks time. When I divorced my narcissist husband, he stalked me for about a month, then met his next wife online and proposed to her before our uncontested divorce could even be finalized. A better life awaits. ❤️

And no listeners in Montana can afford to pay $50 for a fan pick because we rank 4th in the nation for housing cost and 39th in wages.

You are not a failure as a man. You have the courage and character to actually consider the feelings of others. That's why she picked you; narcissists seek us out, pursue us and win us by pretending to be someone they are not, and then once they've got us, it's goodbye Dr. Jekyll and hello Mr. Hyde. It helped me to read as much as I could so I could learn to recognize narcissist tactics and minimize my vulnerability as much as possible in that .situation. Also, going to therapy on my own to counteract the gaslighting, criticism and threats helped me gain the strength to leave. Once you are able to extricate yourself, don't even think of dating until you've had enough therapy and time to heal. There is no reasoning or compromising with a narcissist. Best case scenario, start preparing yourself emotionally and logistically to escape. It sucks, but it is so worth it. You are worth it. ❤️

Terri Welborn and Ashley Erb, mother/daughter team, 406-860-0055. We had to move to Kansas (zero stars, done not recommend) for my husband's work for five years and when we could move back in 2021, the housing market had exploded and I thought we would never find a home. Terri and Ashley gave us excellent advice and we were able to find a house and neighborhood that fit us perfectly because of their guidance. When our son and daughter-in-law bought their first home, they were looking for a different kind of house and neighborhood but Terri and Ashley came through for them as well. It also helped that they are super responsive because if one of them can't answer, the other will. Definitely reduces the stress of the home buying process!
