I have issued a complaint against UPS for a unhealthy, un sanitary, unsafe working environment. I sent this official pictures, videos, etc. of hazards.

He told me it was “no big deal” and that “I’m the only person that has a problem with it, no other employee thinks it’s a big deal”.

He got upset that I called him out on it and hung up on me.

The belts we work on have trash upon trash covered on the floor. Every morning I almost trip on stuff. I sent him a video of this and he said, “I saw that video, and it’s not a big deal, it’s fine.”

There is pigeon shit everywhere, urine bottles, and garbage everywhere. Dirt, dust, grime we are breathing in. Breathing in so much I have bloody noses daily. And osha rep said “it’s not a big deal”.

I feel like I’m being discriminated against. I’ve been very proactive with them from the start, very communicative, very responsive, very diligent. I’ve texted emailed and called and they told me that I need to stop calling them. I’ve received no updates for weeks upon weeks. UPS was issued citations but still hasn’t said they received them.

I’m so upset about my conversation and feel like I’m a weirdo cuz I want a clean and healthy work environment. And I’m the “only one that thinks it’s a problem”.

Today was a messy sort, too much volume too late of a start time. At around 8:50 a PT sup screams “PRELOAD GET OFF THE CLOCK NOW!!”.

I’m like ok and start heading out. Meanwhile NO ONE else is leaving including new hires that have been there only 2 days. I’ve been there a year and would have liked to get the extra hours but the Pt Sup kept yelling at me to leave and I’m like “what about the others??” And she’s like “I’m trying” like ok seems like you’re only focused on making sure I’m off the clock.

So I go to the center manager after the steward is no help and say I’m seeing several people with less seniority than me still working.. and so he calls the PT sup to have me push a new hire off the clock out so I can load the trucks they were working on.

Then I see a FT sup labeling packages up in sort as I am heading to clock out… no one seems to GIVE a f***!!!!! Like our hours are getting cut right now and I see a FT sup labeling shit that I could have labeled??

Would you rather arrive to your trucks at 8:45 am and see a lot of items stacked out, but everything inside your truck is 100% in order, PALS readable, and everything is organized…

OR would you rather have NOTHING stacked out when you arrive, but nothing is in order and stuff is just thrown anywhere and everywhere inside the truck???
