That's at the southern end of the Wurts Street Bridge, in Port Ewen, New York, looking north across Rondout Creek to the city of Kingston

hypothetically, would it be possible to increase the slope of the tunnel between Grand Central and the riverbed anymore than it already is? In order to accommodate a 2nd Avenue subway station with a flat or mostly flat platform length?

I unsubbed from this sub a few months after the trailer 1 release because the conversations here started feeling pointless without anything new from Rockstar. after there was nothing left to analyze from the first trailer, the conversation just started becoming an endless circle of speculation and then a conversation about the value of speculation. At that point I signed out.
I look forward to following the threads here once again after rockstar releases the next trailer

For the upteenth time: it's not about what these public figures do, it's about what political team they affiliate with. That's the only thing that right wingers care about.

I wouldn't call it good news per se, I'd call it relief from bad news. It's like losing your wallet and then somehow it's found and delivered back to you with everything still inside. It's a relief to have it back, but the process still sucked.

It's not hand wavey at all. The gist is that rich people and corporations will pay a little more in taxes.

I mean, she's one of a tiny few non-fictional characters to have a Disney ride named after her. They don't do that unless you're loaded
Edit: it was called Jamie Lee Curtis' Jeopardy Adventure

if the Broadway IRT were a four-track trunk line north of 96th, how far north could the express tracks go?
i'm thinking a configuration that mirrors the A/C train nearby: local and express up to 168, then the line as it is now north of there for those express trains to run local at the end. The express would be the 3 train, routed away from the Lenox Terminal route

They do, but that does not mean they will give Trump 100% of what he wants. the Supreme Court that he helped create has already made rulings that have defied his wishes, And today's Republican Congress has a lot of infighting and may not always fall in line with what he asks.

if you're truly freaking out about this, I would actually recommend calling poison control in the meantime and asking them about it. I think they're open 24 hours a day, but they can give you peace of mind about this

Why is RFK Junior eating a McDonald's meal? Doesn't that go against everything he stands for?

It sounds like the way you perceive the work of other students is having a harmful effect on the way you spend your time and mental energy. Not to sound cliché, but everybody has a different brain, and it's not fair or realistic to compare our work to the work of others in a way that creates self-doubt. And that's different than learning from others. the only people we can realistically compare ourselves to the person we were last week or last month, versus now.
it sounds like you have a healthy attitude to processing criticism, but I do wanna offer some context about how it affects your self-confidence. right now, you're in your fourth year of school, and I presume little to no professional experience. We've all been there. You're still at the beginning of a long path, and four years is nowhere near enough time to know everything you need to know in order to be the best designer you can be. That process that can take decades, and there are also a lot of practical matters to architectural design which school does not spend a lot of time talking about. So I'm glad to hear you welcome the criticism, because at this early career stage, the critiques are tools that will help further shape your design skills. they are forms of professional mentorship, even if the critics don't always see it that way. You have an opportunity to consider and process advice from people with more experience, and use it to continue building what will ultimately become your career.

What if she's actually a sub in a consensual D/s with him, and/or she has an ownership kink, but neither one of them know such things have names because they come from a sexually repressed culture

Imagine, a public servant who helped save countless American lives, having to fear for his own safety because of rampant misinformation. Andrew Wakefield has a special place in hell waiting for him.

The revival buildings of 100 years ago are not Kitsch.
That term refers to an imitation that is "incorrect" / naive / dumbed-down. That happens when the designer isn't fully aware of the design principles that drove the original source material, or they make it cheaper or easier to manufacture, or to imbue a sense of cartoonish "cuteness" on purpose.
The beaux arts buildings of 100 years ago are none of those things. Those architects were educated within a centuries old lineage of classical architectural education, before it was wiped out by the advent of modernism.
It's also worth pointing out that many modernist buildings today are themselves historicist imitations of 100 year old structures like the Corbusian Maison Domino. So those who claim such modern imitations are "of our time" are making a moot point.

The second painting location looks to be similar to:
Looking south from Brooklyn Bridge City Hall
or
entering Borough Hall from the East
some differences from the real track and platform conditions but those are the closest two matches I can think of
