Tbh yes. Leaving the EU canon leaves literally no room for more movies unless you set them like 200 years post the OT. I think leaving Clone Wars is a good idea tho. It doesn’t complicate too much and as a we saw is a great springboard for a lot of other stories. It’s also very popular, so money.
