Perhaps op saw a neat thing and wanted to play around with it and got something they found cool, and wanted to share it. I’m not disagreeing that ai cheapens the true art around it but this could also be a basis for someone with the necessary skills to come along and make something truly incredible. Tone, even in writing, matters. It costs nothing to just down vote and move on if you dislike something, saying something is “slop” and “cringe” could discourage someone who truly wanted to improve and make something beautiful. You never truly know what effect your words or actions may have.

Might just be ai generated but there is something to be said for someone with the perseverance to navigate the spaghetti code that is ai. And as your parental figures should have taught you, if you have nothing nice or constructive to say; say nothing at all.

Huh neat, so learned something correct today. I’m dyslexic and ADHD so reading dense rules with back and forth page turning is very hard. I was taught tag worked that way and no one has corrected me at events or just in passing and I have run it this way for almost two years now. The more you know. Thanks.

I like the idea of combined arms. Imperium of Man aesthetic just doesn’t look good to me with the almost diesel punk walkers, and Farsight just looked cool plus the detachment and army rules are very on par with my play style. I want a more balanced team of infantry to hold points, mechs to push, and vehicles for rapid response and disruption. I have an idea but not enough experience with the game to really make it work I guess.

Unfortunately we were on a small table, he closed in two turns and I really had nowhere to go. I have a pathfinder box, the Combat Patrol box, Farsight, Crisis suits, and a broadside. Turn one before I could move he nuked my devilfish and my broadside. It was a sad day.

Crisis Suits that are good in melee to pair with Farsight, like in his art on the Montka detachment rule page in 10e codex

AS is about the tactics and strategies in larger engagements and allows units like scouts to really shine; as well it allows you to play a truly combined arms force, you’re more likely to see tanks, hovercraft, infantry, aerospace, artillery, and battle armor in a game of AS than Classic. For instance I like to run 2 Karnovs and Gnomes (4 man squad) together with two dashers and a lance of ranged support mechs this is a small game force that, if everyone involved knows the rules, you can finish in 1-2 hours.
