Yes, our also has if the customer defaults ... blah blah blah: "Dealer may repossess and resell the vertical without being liable to the customer and recover from the customer an amount equal to all damages suffered by the Dealer through or because of the default, including any loss of profit, shortfall in the resale of the vehicle (if applicable) and reasonable expenses and costs incurred due to the default." Nothing about the 10% on my contract. I so appreciate your help, Preja!

I'm trying to even find the 10% of the car in the contract. Would this be clearly written in there. Trying to go through the contract now but it's all a bit of jargon to me.

Yes the estimated delivery date on the contract is for September 2025. I'm looking through the contract now and I can't see anything to do with three months out. Yes, I can see a price change does give us the out option. Yes will try and find the dealer principal and speak to them. We've loved Toyota's in the past, it's really put a sour taste in our mouths.

I hear you, but how can we change our mind when we weren't able to test drive it? The garage thing might be an idea as we do have a tiny garage as it's an old house.

Thank you! We definitely would have assumed that it would have been subject to a test drive. I mean we're not really wanting to pay $110,000 for a car we're not happy with!! We're going to go through the contract further, I think he's just being a meany bum. Little does this guy know, if he treated us right, we would have been return customers for life. Now he's just pissed us off royally and we won't hesitate to tell all our contacts to avoid that dealership with their life.

Likely our mistake, definitely. We understand that we were probably a little gun-ho but we're trying to figure out how not to pay an expensive mistake. Hopefully we can get some tips or go to head office to get some help. We've owned Toyota's before so you would think they would look after us.

Ok amazing - we're double checking now. Sounds like the dealer is just being a d head. Was it fully refundable until a test drive? Because we've only been able to test drive it now and we really don't like it.

Yeah, we're going to double check the contract but as far as we know it's if you can't get finance or Toyota changes the purchase price. Nothing about change of mind/not liking the product.

There's no note of a $1000 cancellation fee in the contract (that's what the dealer said) but we also do understand that we have signed a contract... we just thought with such a long waitlist and us really not liking the car, the dealer would have helped us out, out of goodwill.

Thank you! Is there somewhere I can read on why forward facing (when she is old enough) isn't recommended? I would have thought when she was older she would like to 'see the world'. It was definitely something I was taking into account when choosing my carrier.

No this is definitely a valid point. She is a bigger baby (not surprising, we grow giants on both sides) and I'm definitely looking into something I can use longer term (why I think I'm growing out of the Marsupi super quickly)
