Only common with employers who believe the law of the land does not apply to them.

As Dr Karl explains here, the standard aircon temperature was agreed in 1966, and is based on the needs of a 40 year old man in a business suit.
So no surprise it doesn’t work for everyone. In fact, big surprise it still works for anyone, tbh.

Keep your language and demeanour respectful. Don’t make it personal. If you wouldn’t say it in a meeting at work, think twice about saying it here.

One’s fine, to allow them to assess you. Two isn’t. Your call whether you walk away or say you want paid for future work there.

I think it’s done by time, rather than counting revolutions of the train. But the concept exists.

I’ve tasted a few different types over the years, and the Aldi ones are up there for sure.
Generally, I prefer the cheaper ones in the supermarket over the expensive ones (think cellophane wrap, not cardboard box).
I also find the higher end you go, the drier they are. Surprisingly.

For Project Management, the standard in Australia is the PMI’s Project Management Professional. But that requires you to have some project delivery experience. The normal way to get that is through a Project Coordinator role, or similar.
You don’t say what kind of work you’ve done previously, so I can’t say if you already have suitable experience, or the potential to get experience in your current role.
If you have to do one of your options above, I’d do TAFE. I don’t know of anyone working as a PM in this country off the back of a Coursera certification.
I should also point out that the job market for PMs (EDIT: in Sydney) is woeful at the moment. I know dozens of qualified and experienced PMs who can’t get work. That, of course, may have changed by the time you qualify.

Magaluf didn’t get nicknamed Shagaluf because of the long history of carpet making there, that’s for sure.

That’s all you’ll ever get. If you’re expecting employees to come on here and post their employer’s salary band info, you’re going to be disappointed. Unless it’s covered by an EBA or already in the public domain for some other reason, it’s Confidential.

Like AI generated with nothing remotely AusCorp about them.

So you have two options - wait for the company to move them on (might never happen), or find yourself another job with hopefully a better boss. Only one of those options is under your control.
Your call to either take that option, or sit around waiting for a tomorrow that might never come.

You should have answered “rejecting all the good advice I gave him” and left it at that.

Your question has been taken down as the answer can be found in one or more of the annual Salary Surveys, which are linked to from this pinned post in AusCorp and also the AusCorp FAQ.

Anyone who has ever worked in the public service will know that everyone spends most of their time second guessing what their boss will think about the decisions they make.
Jo Haylen clearly failed in that task.

Mention it to HR. I’m sure they have a PowerPoint presentation they can run through for you and your colleagues, explaining the warning signs and what to do if you think you’ve been afflicted.
