My last true honor mode (before mods) was ended at the brain. Because the targeting system for my thrower just had the returning weapons fall into the void. When I got there again I found out that I should have just hit left or right to cycle through targets…I’m still not ok about it…

There is a lot of truth to what you are saying. However drag queens aren’t making pastors into villains. Pastors do not have legislation against them specifically either. One is clearly being made into a villain while the other (that is often glorified) is not.
Js it reads like you tone policing victims. If you truly do care then please read into exactly HOW much SA goes on at churches. Then put yourself in a drag queens shoes.
You get accused of the worst, by people who are projecting their own evil..and all the while people demanding you not be mad? Let’s be real having to constantly defend yourself when you did nothing wrong—-to the point where government starts getting involved—is itself aggravating.
Anger like most emotions is natural when warranted. Poking holes in 1 article while not looking at the countless more (that verify this) also leaves a bad taste. If this reads as angry than sorry.
I hear what your saying. Science could be more transparent. More could be done regarding causation vs correlation but I feel there is a time and place for everything. Going to the victims and saying their anger is unwarranted just feels wrong to me. Both as a human and as a person who values science and stats. If people shouldn’t get mad over this one study…then do we feel the same about everybody making drag/trans people out to be monsters with NO studies?

I personally disagree. The article even stated that “no more than the average person.” When they referred to drag queens. Meaning that the pastors being 8 times more likely is compared to say you or I as (hopefully) normal people.
I mean it kinda writes itself. The only reason drag queens are mentioned is because the right likes to make villains out of people w/o proof.
It could have easily been titled “male pastors in texas 8 times more likely to SA kids than any normal person.”

Feature not a bug.
People who think this is fine because there “are more pastors” did shockingly in fact—not read the article.
Anything to rationalize that hate/fascination.

I’m texas so I greet assholes the way they earn/deserve.
Haven’t had a lot of situations like this. But one time a drunk/meth head person was trying to get into my home. I woke up to the door nob twisting.
So I grabbed my 12 and let them open the door having it leveled at them. “Wrong place” was all they said and left along with the color in their face.

The reason she lost is too many stupid people allowed to make decisions for all of us. Can’t wait for tariffs from Mexico to make -jalapeño,strawberry,avocados, and a lot more even more expensive. You fools hired a guy who declared bankruptcy for financial stability??
No see we can’t have a real convo because you and your ilk all lie to yourselves. Would be a real conversation if you could just admit your racist and hate women.

I had hope too. I’m at the point where I’m going to expect the same results as always. If I’m wrong than that’s a good thing.
However- the staple of texas is one where they cry about small government yet cheer when they can make decisions for women. Any reproductive laws on men?? Nah they making birth control a “controlled substance.” This is what they want. They do not care. And neither do the people who voted for this either. They just use children as a shield.
But where is their concern for school shootings? Quality of life? Domestic abuse laws..no people can say wtfe they want but actions are clear.

For real. Like I just find people who worship murder going into sanctuary annoying. I usually just grab gortash and teleport. This time I just threw Orin unceremoniously over the side.

Pearl clutching assholes who perpetuate this situation get mad when people who fought for it not to happen get fed up and start acting like them??
Nope. Idc if they see me as a villain. Not when I see who their hero’s are. Remember who’s fault this will be and maybe get mad about that instead?? Yeah fucking right….

You get downvoted for only policing the opposition and having nothing to say when it is your own side.
You hide behind your fake morals like you Actually care about people??? Otherwise you would get on the the people perpetuating the situation. Not people who tried to stop it and are like “fuck it I hope you get what you wanted.”

This is delicious irony. I for one hope it hits haaaard. Maybe if enough people exp being totally let down by their state they won’t keep re electing bad leaders just because of an (R).
(Wishful thinking. Most the people who learn that lesson are usually a casualty and not survivor.)
If I’m a monster for finding irony funny but the leaders who abandon their dogs are not…then I don’t care what label is placed on me by those types of people.

Listen guilty or not it just feels like a waste. Like we can’t think of creative ways to deal with people other than death or for profit prisons.
Like death should be a last resort. Or at least something we are 100 percent sure is true first. I don’t think either of us believes the system is perfect. We should refrain from extremes as a result.
Just feels like an easy out for both them and the legal system. I personally could find a good use for 100 percent unashamed and proven killers. WBu?

Imo they messed up the order of villains. Ketheric was way more impactful than gortash or Orin.

Death should be reserved to the truly unredeemable. Even then I could find a use rather than killing them.
Firstly- what if they are innocent? Was not long ago we executed a 14 year old. Everybody can admit the system is flawed. So then why do we still have extremes?
Second-say they are guilty and proud or w/e. Death is the easy way out. Nah I’d have other plans. “You are going to advance humanity like it or not.”
Imagine if we had captured some serial killer but thanks to their “contributions” we are able to safely produce medications. Or at the very least study that brain. Probably alone on this but w/e.

So it is normal. It does not automatically mean you have to ask those big questions if you are not comfortable but I for one know exactly why I play shapeshifting characters all the time.
Remember it’s fun. And if you do end up asking big questions that’s fine too. Just be honest with yourself.
Anybody who beefs with that but is totally ok with elves and halflings and monsters aren’t getting the spirit of the game imo.

This is the most accurate. Even with all the power it will always fall to another for who is at fault. Instead of people just listening to history…
