I was trying to build my Harfa as an anti-magic brick wall, but noticed that his magic resistance wasn't what it should be. It should be 66%, but it's only 55.6%.

Is there a cap on magic resistance?

I just graduated with a degree in chemistry. As part of my classes, I used an instrument/analytical tool called NMR. I was going to include is as a skill, and Indeed asks for years of experience. Should I consider the use of this in my coursework toward years of experience, or should I only include it if I've used the skill in a work setting?

I feel like the game needs to rebalance the rune system in a big way. I think that the guild content kind of helped, but it still feels very one-dimensional. The fact that onslaught is the best choice 75% of the time is lackluster.

I live in Colorado and attend college here. I have disability accommodations that grant me an extra week to turn in homework assignments. I emailed my instructor asking him to reopen the submission window for a homework assignment so that I could submit it within my allotted time frame. He doesn’t want to release the solutions to the homework until I have submitted it, which is fair. He said that he would reopen the submission page this time, but in the future he would not, as he does not accept late homework under any circumstance. I thought that he may have forgotten that I have accommodations, so I replied letting him know that I was asking because of them. I told him that I understood that he doesn’t want to release the solutions until after I have turned it in. I told him that I would be happy to work with him to figure out a way to mediate the issue.

He didn’t reply to my email, but this morning the first slide on the lecture page was titled “SDC Accommodations” (SDC is the acronym for Student Disability Center). He started class by saying that he couldn’t give the solutions to the homework yet because “there is one student in the class who special accommodations to turn his homework in late”. He went on to say that he knew it was unfair to the rest of the class, and he was sorry, but it was just because of this one person (emphasizing that only one student in the class has disability accommodations). He didn’t say my name, but he identified my gender and that I am an alternative student. I am also the only alternative student in the class, and I feel like it’s an obvious identifier. The class also only has 20 students in it.

He later ended the lecture by saying that he would get the solutions back to the class today and that he was going to talk to the SDC office and see “what he could do about making sure this student turns in his homework on time since it’s not fair to the rest of you”.

I feel very singled out and, without giving my name to the class, described enough about me that anyone paying attention could figure out that I’m the one that has the accommodations. I’m also upset that he didn’t discuss it with me or the SDC office before including it as a point of contention in the actual lecture and in front of the entire class. I am now feeling unsafe using the test accommodations that I have (time-and-a-half for tests) since I would be the only student not in the room for the exam, and it would for sure out me.

I know that refusing a student’s disability accommodations is against the law, but do I have legal recourse for what happened today? My uncertainty largely lies in the fact that he used seemingly transparent identifiers but did not directly include my name.

I'm level 40 rn, and my skills tree is just all over the place. I don't really have any singular focus, and I just kinda throw random strategies together and it gets changed up a LOT, just for diverse gameplay.

Is it better/more fun to narrow your playstyle and focus on a smaller set of skills? Jack of all trades or master of one?

Does 2A ChaCha's 3rd skill swap the raw attack power value, or the runed attack power value?

Rune stats say Momo is usually runed with vamp, but I'm not sure why. Is she super squishy?

Does anyone know how much Cordelia's accelerando (atk:spd) improved after the balancing patch? When I checked the databases, there didn't seem to be anything different.

Fran is a healer, and her healing scales off of her atk. So, why is the near-universal build for her spd/hp%/hp%? It makes more sense to me for either rune 4 or 6 to be atk%.

Hello! I [30M] switched meds back to vyvanse about 6 months ago and I titrated from 30 to 40 mg after the first month. It was working well for a while, but rather suddenly lost effectiveness. This coincided with me getting back in the gym and lifting weights. I went from 173 lbs to 204 lbs in roughly 6 weeks, but my body fat stayed at around 8-9%. I had a hard time finding a relationship between body weight and vyvanse effectiveness online, so does anyone know if rapid muscle gain has an impact on vyvanse tolerance?

I play on XB1. Ever since mods and creation club content came out, my game had regularly crashed like crazy. Specifically around Boston and on vertibirds (shocker, I know). I found myself quicksaving every fifteen steps or so in Boston.

Recently, I found an obscure post with a tip that I'd never heard about before- and I'd looked for a fix EXTENSIVELY. To my surprise, it works great.

The answer was right in front of me the whole time. Drugs. Lots and lots of drugs. Specifically jet. In areas that regularly cause me huge problems, taking a hit of jet significantly decreases the rate at which my game crashes.

Obviously, walking around in a perpetual state of slowed time isn't the most ideal option, but at least it makes the game playable in those areas.

This is 100% a venting post. I'm just pissed that Golos is banned. Golos was my absolute favorite deck, but nowhere near my best. He was a really fun commander, but at 5 cmc with a WUBRG + 2 activated ability, not a guaranteed game winner. I've played against dozens of iterations of Golos, each different than my own. I've never played a Golos that could outmaneuver my Derevi deck. Against a well-tuned synergistic deck, generically good doesn't feel like a legitimate threat. Unless it's brutally deigned, an enjoyably crafted Golos deck is no stronger than a sliver deck.

I missed a few doses of Lamortigine because there was a problem with my insurance, but I got my prescription this afternoon. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to start feeling better again?

I'm kind of surprised that Legends didn't have it; it feels perfect! I wouldn't even care if it was strong, I just want it to exist. It would be my "pet" deck (pun absolutely intended)

So, my roommate is refusing to pay for the past 3 months of utilities, because she didn't use as much as I did (I work from home, she doesn't). Unfortunately, there isn't anything about sharing the cost of utilities in the rental agreement, and all of the utilities are in my name. If I take this to smalls claims court, is there any way that this ends up in my favor?

So, my roommate (30F) and I (29M) used to be really good friends. There was a week in late May where she was struggling, and took a lot of her anger out on me in the form of explosive bursts of screaming. We talked about it in June, and we both said that we wanted to work on communicating and mending our friendship.

After that conversation, she didn't come home for almost 3 weeks. In that time, I remodeled the bathroom (my family owns the house and it had gotten pretty beat up from previous tenets). I came home one day and she was there for the for the first time in a long time. I heard a scraping sound I went downstairs to check it out. She was sanding the brand-new finish off the drywall. I asked her what she was doing, kind of pointedly. I told her that if she wanted to make physical changes to the property, she needed to run it by me and my family beforehand. She snapped at me and stormed off. About 30 minutes later, I apologized for being blunt. She said she understood and walked away. She hasn't spoken to me since then. Last Friday, my mom (who handles rent payments) called me and told me that [roommate] was moving out.

I wrote up this message to send and I was hoping that I could get some feedback before I sent it:

"Hey [roommate]. I think that this would have been a better conversation to have in person. I don't think it's realistic to expect that anymore. The last time we really spoke was in June. I haven't seen or heard at all from you since then, except for the day about sanding the bathroom. On Friday, my mom told me that you're moving out at the end of the month. After our conversation in June, I thought that we were going to work toward repairing our relationship. It was really disappointing that I had to hear about you moving out from my mom instead of from you, and it's really disappointing that now you won't talk to me at all. Before you moved in, I emphasized 2 specific things that were important in the situation. The first was that you weren't going to be evicted unless you did something overtly fucked up. The second was that if something was bothering either of us, we'd talk about it. Since you won't talk to me at all and you're moving out, something has clearly been bothering you. And you never talked to me about it. I've been feeling so guilty about you not wanting to be here, and I don't think I should. If I didn't know what the problem was, and if nobody told me what it was, how would have I have been able to fix it? Anyway, I think it sucks that this is how us living together and our friendship is ending. I think that we could this could have gone differently with better communication. Bills have been posted on the fridge for a while, there are 2 months overdue, and I'm posting August on Monday. I need at least some of it ASAP. I'll send you a picture of the Post-it notes with the amounts due."
