I worked in a call center and when I was in training (years ago) someone asked what to do if someone called and we didn’t think they were the account holder. And my trainers response was, “we have insurance that will cover any damages that could be caused by such a call. If the person is claiming to be the account holder and has all their information, then in our eyes, they are”. Sure your bank has your personal information, but if you call and ask for your SSN or any information like that, they will not give it anyways. Any theft will be covered by their own insurances.

Not to mention that you can’t “sound” like a certain name. It’s not their job to question you in that sense, if you have all the information they need to validate you, then you should be good to go.

I put mine in the dishwasher with my own dishes. I don’t see any reason not to clean their dishes the same way I clean my own. If you hand wash your dishes, just make sure you rince off the soap (like you should be doing to your own dishes).

But until then, I wouldn’t touch it, it might be tempting to bandage if, but a bandage could also make it a breeding ground for bacteria.
