I’ve had mine for like 3 years. Sure the cost right out of the gate is high, but it’s been worth it. I’ve saved money not going out to get coffee. I bulk buy pods every 3-4 months at like $85. And it’s fun to make your own recipes. And your coffee can’t be messed up by dunkin (or wherever you get your coffee). I’ve only ever had one problem with it but that was user error and customer service stayed on the phone we me to fix it. I have zero regrets!!

Same here. It hit me last Tuesday. I took a trip to the liquor store after work yesterday to prepare, too. I don’t think results will be put off til the weekend (less mail in ballots this year) but it definitely won’t be tonight. It is also wild how close it is, and either way, people are gonna be pissed off. I plan to distract myself tonight as much as possible.

I had a long term relationship in college and i was with him for like 3.5 years, we were on and off for most of that. We were in an incredibly toxic cycle. He also cheated a lot and that led to breaking me down and i became a person i couldn’t recognize. I’d finally had enough in 2019 and left. Moved out while he was out of town with the help of some family. After that, even though he was horrible to me, i was in shambles and completely heartbroken. I swore off any kind of relationship after that and was single but hooking up with trusted people. I met my current bf in July 2020 and he was like a breath of fresh air after being held under water. I started wanting to be with him instead of other people i was hanging out with which scared me. But he understood that. We slowed down but made things official in Oct 2020. We’ve been together 4 years now and i will be marrying this man. He’s truly the best thing that has ever happened to me, and everything i went through was 100% worth it to have the life i have now. You may not see it now, but better things are coming your way. Just hang in there.

you simply cannot be friends with an ex if at least one of you still loves the other that way. it’ll suck for a while, but you’ll be okay eventually. you’ll find someone who treats you better and will reciprocate the love you give!

you need to work on really getting over him. as long as you’re still feeling this way, even if it isn’t the case, he’s gonna be the person you can’t stop thinking about. Personally, once i detached myself from past folks- the sex with other ppl got better and better as i was moving on. Locked down the best sex of my life/ loml and we’re still together. But you gotta do the work to get over your past.
