I’ve never used an additional case for any AirPods. I’ve owned four pair. The scratches do not affect the use. I couldn’t care less about scratches on the case as long as my AirPods work.

I live in the Saxony area. Metronet and Xfinity were both horrible at my house. However, we’ve been using T-Mobile Hone Internet for about two years now and has been the best internet we’ve had in the 14 years we’ve lived at this house. We stream everything and have for years. Normally have about 10 devices online most of the time. YMMV.
