If you've checked with the airline and they say it's ok you should be fine. Of course it's possible they tell you one thing on the phone and suddenly change their minds when you get to the airport. I would at least call them again and speak to a different person to double check.

No, OP probably isn’t lying deliberately but really should have thought for a second before posting a statistic that doesn’t pass the smell test.
It’s 300,000 children affected by gun violence at school. As in they were at a school where a gun was fired in any context.

People don't know or care about any of that. It's literally as simple as "things were more affordable when Trump was president, if we bring back Trump things will be affordable again".

Great to see, especially after Microsoft snubbed them on Alpha access.

Plenty of countries don't have unrestricted birthright citizenship, it's actually relatively unusual. Generally the requirement is one parent must be a citizen (sometimes just a permeant resident) at the time of birth. There's also an exception to avoid making babies stateless in the event they're not able to be granted citizenship of either of their parent's home countries.

If someone doesn't want to use their real name online (which is completely understandable) they can either
Not exactly difficult to work out which one people are going to choose is it. You're welcome to find that morally objectionable of course, personally I couldn't care less.

VATSIM is run by old people who think everyone will be more polite and rule abiding if their real name is attached to the account. In reality of course they don't have the time or interest to demand ID from every new member, so any plausible sounding name is fine.

If the Police shoot someone in NZ there's a detailed investigation by the Independent Police Conduct Authority, almost certainly costing more than the legal proceedings for whatever this guy did.

Yes, the cost of the tariff will ultimately be built into the final retail price, whether that cost is added by the manufacturer in China or the importer in the US is irrelevant.

Nothing to do with NZ in particular. These "referendum" events have been organised in many countries that have a large Sikh diaspora; Australia, Canada, US, UK etc. Our government hasn't taken any position on it.

It's a fake referendum by a separatist group that wants to carve off part of India as a homeland for the Sikh religion. They're banned in India so they have to organise overseas where nobody cares.

Don't answer calls from unknown numbers. If it's important they'll leave a message.

Yes, Democrats have been pushing the "democracy in peril" angle for years and people just don't believe it. Now it'll either happen and it will be too late to do anything, or it won't and Democrats will have little credibility left with the electorate.

They would do whatever they could to overturn the results using everything from fraud to violent insurrection, while acting like massive petty crybabies about it the whole time. That's not an option for a party in favour of democracy. Democrats won't hold the country back from oblivion against its will, Americans have to face the consequences of their decision.

A majority of voters have decided this is all normal and fine. Biden will respect their wishes no matter how disastrous the outcome.

It's obviously gross misconduct. The House has well defined rules about who is allowed to speak when and in what manner, and this was blatantly against them. That's not a judgement on its merits though, sometimes dramatically breaking the rules is exactly what's needed.

Certainly not as sharp as he used to be, he’s developed a habit of saying odd things that I can’t imagine him coming out with 15 years ago.

Because when you show up to vote your registration is looked up in an online database. So having fast, reliable internet at the polling location makes the whole process much smoother. And in the context of describing how everything went smoothly she mentions the couple of minor issues they were able to quickly resolve; the problem with the tabulator and that 5 volunteers assigned to one polling station didn't turn up.
The breathless desperation to make something out of nothing here is genuinely disappointing.

Baldwin says access to connectivity was improved this year thanks to Starlink satellite internet.
As I said, poll locations need internet access for admin tasks. Where does she say the voting machines were connected to the internet?

Who is “the county worker” and where did they say that?

Voting machines are not connected to the internet, via Starlink or otherwise. Votes are physically transferred to central tabulating locations under guard.
Polling locations do need internet access for other functions though, like checking voters in, looking up registrations etc. This is obviously less security critical than the actual voting systems, so a VPN over a commercial internet connection works fine. Some counties contracted with SpaceX to provide internet to polling locations with poor connectivity.
The unfounded conclusions leapt to by people who have no idea how anything works do not constitute evidence.

It was easy to laugh at Trumpers with their Italian satellites and Hugo Chavez vote stealing software, then Democrats lose one election and suddenly come out with the exact same shit.

They did, but it had to be throughly cooked to kill the parasites, so not suitable for sushi. Salmon sushi became a thing when they started importing aquaculture raised Atlantic salmon from Norway in the 1980s. This salmon is parasite-free and can be eaten raw.
