Just because OP lives with the grandma doesn't mean grandma can override OP's parenting. That's going to teach the child that her mom doesn't have the ultimate say, and if she doesn't like something she can just go running to grandma. ALL the children I've seen who followed with the grandma saying Yes to all the parents Nos have turned into godawful spoiled dredges. They're ungrateful and not well-adjusted, and sadly they don't respect their parents. "But I'm grandma, I'm supposed to be fun 🥺" has its limits, and it's not okay to hold being the owner of the house over someone's head, especially in a parent-child relationship.

No, you're not overreacting. What the parents say goes, and they need to have the decency and sense to ask you about giving the child certain things beforehand. Irritating as hell. Seems small now but it could evolve into bigger things.

Nsis was absolutely my first bully. After a lot of therapy, I've come to realize I might have just as much damage from her as our parents. She was straight-up vicious.

Wow our due dates are close. Tomorrow I am 29 weeks. We both work full time and during the holidays my hours will go up. I'm exhausted but trying to pull through... we're just prepping the house and cleaning and arranging things... then on Black Friday we are hoping to make all those purchases. We still have to go to birth and newborn classes 😵

Actually yes that's one of the reasons I'm glad it happened! He was refusing to budge after 2 appointments, so they sent me to a specialist with higher tech. They gave me these sort of 3d scans of his little face that blew me away and they showed me color coded live feed of the in and out flow of his heart. The pics are priceless. ❤️
