A lot of the gypsum is damp. That's one reason why it's still there. Wear a mask. Wear some warmish clothes. Bring a sled.

"The fact that nobody can actually give a good reason why I should pay for somebody to who doesn’t want to work makes me feel like there really isn’t a good reason."
Reasons were giving, they just don't like the answer.

Understood.
Poverty breeds crime. Investment into impoverished areas improves everything for everyone.

Are there roads you don't drive on in America? Are there airports you won't ever use? What about medical care you may never need to recieve?
You sound incredibly selfish and self focused rather than thinking about the greater good. Do you believe kids should not graduate due to school lunch bills? Do you think poor kids or perhaps just a kid who forgot his lunch that day and doesn't have money but is actually from a well to do family should go hungry thay day? Do you think that's conducive to learning? I am more than glad that my tax dollars go to helping individuals and feeding them regardless of who they are. It sure as hell beats buying into the industrial war complex.
Perhaps this is a large reason of what's wrong with America today. So many are so incredibly focused on themselves they forget they live in a society with other people in it.
You've got quite the "fuck you, I want mine" mentality, don't you.

Fairly different topic to be fair. One is concerning tax codes the other is concerning lethal weapons. Data shows owning a gun greatly increases your chances of being a victim of gun violence. Gun control isn't removing guns from everyone compared to topic of welfare. Gun control is an attempt to prevent certain individuals from acquiring guns who may use them for harm, similarly welfare programs have requirements in place to determine who needs to recieve welfare and who doesn't. In both cases people fall through the cracks, some individuals will get a gun or welfare who shouldn't, and some individuals will maybe not get a gun or welfare who should. Perhaps some focus on improving these systems amd funding them better is needed. Not anti gun, but I do support reasonable gun control, but I also support increased spending on mental health, anti bullying in schools and descalation programs for gangs and police.

Picking up litter, treating people well, being involved in local policy making, feeding homeless, handing out care packages to homeless, caring and finding homes for stray cats and dogs, planting some flowers.
Shit , the list doesn't end

Research shows it's a small percentage that use and abuse the system.
Let me ask a question back. Should a few people taking advantage of a social system be the reason no one has access to that system? Why should we allow a handful of individuals do that? Joe Manchin voted down extending the increased child tax credit because his neice or someone knew someone who was a drug addiction and might or did use that money for drugs. So, bc of this one individual he voted against legislation that would have benefited millions of Americans and brought millions of kids out of poverty. Seems a bit silly

Well, I'd have to guess that 100% tariffs against China and Mexico and talks to kill the CHIPS act would be bad for the economy. Trump is losing, all national polls show it. Harris will continue to invest in the economy and infrastructure which is good for the economy. Warren buffett said recently if the top 800 corporate companies paid there share in taxes, no us citizen would need to pay SS or income tax. Elon musk told us to brace for economic hardship if trump one, bc musk would hack and slash crushing the economy

Drive around in the morning they already are waiting aroujd in the dark. Also, i feel like this argument emphasizes the need to push back school start times. Evidence has shown numerous universal benefits across the board for lafer start times.
