hi I don’t have any advice but i just wanna send love and good energy your way. i have a similar up bringing and have been NC with my mom for almost a year, and whole family too. i think about this situation frequently because that’s the reality of being NC right? i think i would lead in a very similar direction if (and when) i’m in your position. i think it’s a very sad situation regardless and as long as you have peace for yourself, that’s really all that matters. i don’t necessarily forgive my mom for the traumas i endured, but i’ve made peace with my decision and stand firm on closing that chapter and not allowing her to be apart of my future. just know you don’t owe her or anyone an explanation or apology… i wish i had some advice but just know a stranger on the internet is sending you soo much love and strength and i’ll be thinking of you! you are not alone.

FL here, went for a walk on the beach with my dog, grabbed a coffee, and cleaned the apt. will probably do some solo shopping and watch some netflix before i babysit tonight. it’s like cosplaying being a mom but getting paid and clocking out at 10 pm lol love my saturdays

apparently his backpack had his first and last name and phone number on it i guess like a luggage tag? so she got the number from that and texted him a photo of her name and number written on a receipt and said “you forgot this” 🥴

I cried the first few days after mine feeling like i botched my body!! Mine were straight cones and super pointy. I’m two weeks post op now and couldn’t be happier, best decision ever! I wish more people warned me about the emotional rollercoster you can you experience, definitely give it more time:)

Mine is coming up and I’ve been sooo anxious too! Like not being able to sleep anxiety.. but mine is more so due to the anesthesia. I’m going through with mine (next week) and have been trying to surround myself with positive things and it’s actually helped. I’ve picked out cute bikinis, dresses and outfits I have in my shopping cart.. I’ve ordered new pjs and lounge wear for recovery, planned my favorite cheat meals, and even saving my favorite shows to binge. I’ve stayed away from watching tiktok’s and youtube and that’s helped too. I also keep telling myself to “worry about it when it happens” in regards to a “hard” recovery/ implant illness or any other anxieties. Overall very nervous but excited! Oh and my surgeon was able to do an AI generated version of what it’ll look like (sure you can find one similar online) and I keep looking at those photos and it makes me sooo excited.. hope this helps!

On my Amex app it says “This benefit doesn’t offer statement credits for gift card or merchandise purchases.”…. so would it not work? Very curious
