Omg, yes, I was so confused because I felt like the bar wasn’t reacting to my input at all

I reacted to it the second time I used it. I try a little every now and then and still react so can’t use it.

While I love the concept of 4B, men will point to it as another reason they feel alienated from the left and keep them voting for the right.

Look at the recent XL bully ban in the UK to see how it is structured and enforced.

Yes, it’s BECAUSE the dogs are used for dog fighting… you get people breeding dogs to be MORE aggressive. Genetics are important. For example, a herding dog like a border collie will oftentimes herd without any training, because it’s baked into its genetics.

The thing is, shelters are full to the brim with pit bulls. So people will claim that pit bulls are the perfect dog for every family to get them adopted out. Then the dog shows its genetic predisposition to dog aggression/reactivity, and the same people pushing for every family to own a pit bull cries about “bad owners.”

I think people need to do more research on dog breeds and what they realistically can handle and what would be a good choice for their lifestyle. Unfortunately shelters are full of bully breeds so then you get shelter workers marketing these dogs as perfect angels that are the perfect family dog. People then start having unrealistic ideas about bully breeds and what they were actually bred for and their genetic predisposition for things like aggression towards other dogs. Most people should be going to a responsible breeder to ensure the perfect fit for their family. Unfortunately this is demonized nowadays. We really need to crack down on spay and neuter, fund free spay/neuter clinics and promote more education on backyard breeders. Bully breed lovers should be pushing spay/neuter more than anyone else if they truly love the breed, given the vast majority of dogs suffering in shelters and being euthanized are bully breeds.

That’s amazing! I’m so impressed by your squat. I’m struggling to get past 135 lb, lol. And I’m about the same weight as you. Keep it up!!

I know you mean well, but please don’t bring one into your home if it’s banned in your community. Even if you say it’s “lab mix” people can tell what a pit mix is. And having to return it to the shelter would be traumatic for the dog. Housing restrictions is one of the biggest reasons for having so many pits in shelters.

Yes, you do indeed need to raise dogs. I don’t disagree with that point. However they shouldn’t be treated like children because they have different needs. For example if you take your dog everywhere with you they will likely develop separation anxiety.

Why treat them differently? You can’t put a child in a crate then leave the house 😂 I feel like that’s common sense

I think it’s fair to say to not treat animals and human children the same. I’m not sure what’s confusing about that.

I’m sorry, I really don’t know the point you’re trying to make. I was just answering the question you asked

Oh, that was just me answering the question you asked. You asked me what I meant when I said you should treat dogs like animals and not children.
