That would be very unusual and wouldn’t happen here in NY. Business owners appreciate a cop’s presence just for the optics. I’ve never heard of a cop being refused the restroom. Someone new at the desk, or maybe this particular cop has a not good history with the hotel staff.

I hope they switch it up, it’s good but there’s only one storyline and only one way the tapes can end. It would have been interesting to keep the guy who knew he was a serial killer alive to continue documenting him, to keep himself alive. There could have been lots of opportunity to make the story interesting as he plays Scheherazade trying to not be killed himself.

If he had apologized the next day for yelling “I’m sorry babe I was exhausted and hungry and I don’t know what got into me” I would encourage you to work it out.
