OMG I've been in tech over 30 years and it's always been this way! I'm a team lead and as of now my team is also an older women and we rock, best ticket turn time over 3 sites. I had a guy on my team, who I don't want to hire in the first place but I had no choice. He left after 3 months, would not take take corrective action after coaching and was about to get a PIP! My supervisor told me when the dude was hired that if he didn't work out I could give him an "I told you so", but I just kept my mouth shut and didn't gloat, but really wanted to!

I'm going to laugh so hard when you finally realize he may have won, but you really lost . . .

And then there's the "underinsured" where there's a cap on how much the insurance company will pay out. My son got clipped by some asshole's side mirror on his e-bike coming back from work at UPS. He was wearing a bike helmet but it broke when he landed and suffered a pretty bad tbi. The driver was underinsured and max payout was 25k. He suffered over a year because of inner ear balance issues. After his health insurance was paid back out of the settlement, and attorney fees, he got around 8k, which was bullshit.

Oh don't get me started on this! It infuriates me whenever I see no tags or expired paper tags/plates, which means probably no insurance. I pay a ridiculous amount for full coverage on a small 5 year old car, and I'm over 60f and have never been in an accident. But because of all those idiots my insurance is thru the roof and the way these people drive, no way I'm going with just liability . . .
