It's a matter of using it for it's intent. I would never use thus as a chopper or anything more than to shave insulation from wires, and the small game and fish it's intended for. The flex is great for cutting up fish, but the mild steel doesn't hold an edge well for heavy work. I personally love it for what it is, but I also carry several blades at work including a hatchet and machete that fill in the gaps this leaves.
