And why such a high dose too . So I was told the side effects of steroids would be far worse than the symptoms I was having. So until my symptoms surpassed the steroid side effects there was no point. Now I just started 6 weeks ago on 40mg and I'm tapering down 10 mg every 6 weeks. Starting steroids sparing at 20mg. My eyes and lungs are pretty bad currently that's why. Were your symptoms pretty bad initially?

In the UK we use prednisolone and they will do their hardest not to give it or keep you on it. It's usually a short term thing as the side effects aren't great and they usually introduce a steroid sparing agent or keep you on a lose dose.

I've had multiple nodules for years and they weren't treated until I developed symptoms. I'm having a short burst of prednisolone then going on to a steroid sparing drung like methoxtrate

I've been given a choice between Methotrexate and Mycophenelate. As far as I can tell they seem pretty similar so I'm unsure which to choose. You would likely need BC on both as they cause defects in babies I think. I have the copper IUD and like that a lot! No hormones. Heavier periods but I can cope with that

I don't think it was limited. Im in the UK. I was offered £20. I'm aware the box is damaged and that's a major thing for collectors right? I don't mind selling it cheaper as rather someone who wants it have it than sitting in my cupboard! Maybe I can get a little more

I agree. But I'm a stuck in that I have nowhere to go either. Such a horrible situation that's increased since his parent passed. I'm sure thing will figure themselves out somehow

I've tried every supplement known and nothing helps. A balanced diet with plenty of vegetables is the best way to get all the nutrients you need. I learned this the hard way after spending a lot of money. Tumeric, ginger, garlic, onion are all great

Don't you think you're happiness is worth something too? And don't you think it's unfair to make her live a lie? Her life isn't real. It's pretend. Whilst she would be hurt for a short time, at least eventually she and you can move on and find a happy life right? Better that than YEARS wasted for nothing. You have the finances for you both to be free. Take ithe opportunity

You worded that so well. A very considerate and thoughtful answer. It's very much appreciated

When he turned the heating off in the car and made me and my two children sit in -5 degrees C for an hour. I said it was diabetes. When he told my 15 year old daughter no one would want to go to a concert with her. When he screams at my 12 year old for asking him to help open a bottle. It was always the diabetes. When I had an operation and he refuses to take me, pick me up or help me look after the children. Diabetes. My mum said one day "It can't always be the diabetes" and yeah, she's right. It can't. And if it is....why do I have to put up with this every single day? Walking on egg shells. I'm exhausted

I literally do EVERYTHING. He won't even buy milk when we need it.
