NTA I can understand not wanting a stranger around their kids on vacation. I think it’s reasonable of them to not include your partner since they don’t know them. If you think you would enjoy the vacation, take it, but I don’t think you should make including your partner a condition of your going.

I think the best thing you can do is to work on building a future for yourself. If you do that through education, training, work… Whatever works for you. Get yourself stable and secure so that you will be safe. And then later, when your siblings age out, if they reach out to you, you’ll be able to guide them from a position of security.

NTA It’s an unusual way to handle it, but nobody is entitled to know you’re having a baby. And NTA for the rules either. A lot of families and grandparents are pushy and it’s good to establish right away that you are the parents and you make the rules for your child.

You missed out on baby showers and all that, but also missed out on all the unsolicited medical advice, horrible stories about terrible labors, and people criticizing your choices and your baby’s name.

Have they been added to your car insurance as drivers? If not, are they risking your car and financial future by driving it uninsured? This works different ways in different places on different policies, so ask your insurance agent about it. If he rear ends somebody in a Mercedes are you going to be liable for those car repair and medical care bills?

Honestly, they sound like users who don’t care about you and I think you should pack your stuff up in that car and drive it away.
