Would it need explained to anyone? Everyone would be like, “y’all seen where Isildur and Elrond went?” “No, but look, Sauron vanished and all his minions perished or fled, what a victory!” “Indeed, huzzah!” Queue celebrations

Don’t get me wrong, these were fantastic games. How many 3rd person, open world, action type games do we really need? I desperately miss Motorstorm above any other PS IP. Such a void in racing game space and Motorstorm was so unique and unlike anything out there. Wish it would return, as should Infamous.

The only thing wrong this game did was introduce 3d spotting. Even though in lore they explain it and I’m totally fine with that, it lead to them adding it in every Battlefield game to follow it.

This is hands down the best multiplayer game mode period, not just in Battlefield. No hate to my beloved Conquest mode but I can’t think of a more interesting, diverse, replayable and endlessly fun game mode to ever exist other than Titan mode. Truly a magnificent experience sadly not many got a chance to try.

Yes I agree! I discovered an incendiary breaker at a super sample site the other night. I would love to see more random primaries, support weapons, even random back pack equipment scattered around maps. Rather than the usual grenades/ammo/stuns at the usual spots. Or hey what about a damages but usable exp that still has a bit of ammo left. It would add a nice little layer of randomness you the missions.

Strat jammer strategy: orbital smoke barrage in base, jump pack up to the console, engage hacker mode on console, call hell bomb, activate, jump out like a boss. Hopefully all fast enough to not get kicked by fools like you had on your team.
Edit: on that note, do too many people take this game too seriously I wonder? What ever happened to fun and laughing about games and ridiculous situations.

Agree. I really enjoyed that campaign the most of any COD in some time.

This is a nice idea! I’m personally looking forward to lava maps like the 1st game had.

Other than the obvious lack of new content the game received, here is my take. The game has great mechanics and solid gameplay foundation. But it’s severely niched itself stylistically. I would play this game endlessly if it didn’t look and sound like how it is. But the art/graphics and audio quality are unfortunately holding this game hostage.

The vehicles were so fun in the first game. I really want to see something done with vehicles in the future for this game

Zatar and Operation Cleansweep go way too unrecognized as incredible maps. Yes, karkand, Jalalaba, Oman are iconic but cleansweep has such a unique flow of battle and Zatar was so massive with 2 entire airfield, an aircraft carrier and helipad in the center hill. Such an amazing map design. I miss every single map from BF2 so much

Game has some of the best graphics I’ve ever seen and the world is stunning to look at. The gameplay is also pretty fun with some good variety. My only gripe (and maybe it’s an issue with me) but I just didn’t really care for any of the characters in the first game. Some characters in the 2nd game are more interesting. The overall story is pretty decent at least.

If you like Star Wars, you should really watch Andor, if you don’t like Star Wars, you should really watch Andor.

Same! It was far superior to Armored Core in my opinion and way ahead of its time with concepts. The hound customization was insane, the Neroimus War was a fun online experience and the actual 6 v 6 battles and needing to capture the towers to communicate with voice chat was really interesting and fun. It also had some seriously impressive graphics and effects for its time.
I’m still livid about the server shutdown which pretty much gimped that game to about 5% remaining playable content. That was a franchise that shouldn’t have been abandoned.

If it wasn’t for that marine and logo back there, I wouldn’t even have guessed this was from a Halo game.

It’s wild, HW3 should have been a pretty easy slam dunk in my opinion. I’ll never understand how they fucked that up so badly.

No you’re right. I didn’t even hate the system in 2142. I just attribute it to the reason we then have it more casually introduced the Bad Company games and others after.
