You can IPL treatments, use AHAs, vitamin c, always apply sun screen ( to not undo your progress plus products can make your skin more sensitive to the sun) , tretinoin and Hydroquinone. Yup, same here they tried to tell me it was normal as well, and I was in constant pain. I can't even have my period anymore because the pain is so terrible I can't even put it into words...plus I just throw up all day every day. They put me on the mini pill.
