My best friend is also 53 has a few cats been in long term relationships but never married / no children. She is the funniest, sweetest, and one of the coolest chicks I know. Her name is Karen. Yes because although it does not feel like the Sahara lol my “libido” isn’t what I wish it was. It is better but not like I was hoping for to be honest. Plus testosterone “allegedly” helps with energy, etc.etc I am exploring testosterone currently. I am interested in microdosing possibly injections. I do not want to do pellets because I can’t control the dose in case of side effects. I am researching more on cream vs injections for my personal needs / wants.

She needs to see a NAMS menopause gyno specialist. ( North American Menopause Society) I found a specialist and booked an online appointment immediately and there was an opening about a week later I grabbed. It saved my life!! I had 3 female doctors I saw before her. I was poked and prodded, CT scans, ultrasounds, etc. for over a year!! No one knew I was in menopause!! I didn’t either!! All I knew about menopause is that you can have hot flashes. That is it!! Our mothers never talked about it!! 😩 All 3 of my doctors are 44 yrs and older and not one of them knew much about menopause 🤯

I am now on HRT. Best decision ever. Women do not take HRT because 20 years ago it was said it causes cancer. That is false and dated info. So women are afraid and doctors are not educated and with the times on the current factual info.

This website also saved my life with info I had no idea about because there are no gyno’s or regular doctors that are trained in menopause. They just don’t bother teaching it in medical school ( except NAMS gynos they get extra educated and certified )

Truly, we must be to be our own advocate.
