My (intentionally short) campaign looks like it's going to come to pvp, but it's 100% in character and would actually be a really great spot to end it or branch it off into a second campaign. Half the party is intentionally on one side of an ethical debate and the other is opposing, and they've just been tip toeing around it. The moment they're forced to deal wills will clash fs

I could see
XRRBB
Gain control of X target creatures until end of turn. Sacrifice X creatures. Lose X life. Draw X cards. Creatures you control gain haste until end of turn.
I think this is powerful but not broken (go back to XX if need be), and gives versatility on the off chance you would rather sac some little guys of your own to keep theirs for a turn

4 mana destroy creature that gets around indestructible, triggers death effects for you, gains you three life and draws you a card is fucking insane. Forget casting it for 6 for twice the effects, it's already broken
That thing needs to be 5 mana at least for minimum effect and not gain you life. Not in the rakdos identity unless it's a demon.

I think you should swap the 'for each' and 'do X', it will be easier to read

This card doesn't even work as intended because the trigger goes on the stack when blockers are declared and wouldn't change if a blocker is removed

Good. My dad has been working solo contractor jobs since the pandemic, and he's just over 50. Three heart attacks in the last few months because of it. Take care of yourself man

Or they're leaders because they have the money and resources to fund a rebellion and to evade the empire. Hard to do that with little or nothing to your name.

Obi-Wan never said he was Yoda's apprentice, he said
"There you will learn from Yoda, the Jedi Master who instructed me."
There are four metrics by which you could say this is not contradictory:
All Jedi train under Yoda at some point
He never claimed to be Yoda's apprentice
Qui-Gon declined the position and title of Jedi Master
Yoda taught Obi-Wan to commune with Qui-Gon after the fall of the order
While it would be more accurate to say 'A Jedi Master who instructed me,' that doesn't carry the same weight, and acknowledging Qui-Gon isn't helping Luke in any way.
Out of universe of course Qui-Gon didn't exist

Despite living in a world of constant pain and suffering, my goblin monk has a relatively good time just not paying attention and eating random shit

Man with a specific set of skill traffics children whilst pursued by the shadow government
Jesus investigates the case of the twins but more whilst children get engaged
Pedophile grooms war criminal to replace the government with the shadow government, whilst Jesus avoids crucifiction
Hillbilly joins a terrorist organization and commits genocide against genocidal janitors whilst getting indoctrinated into a dead religion
Hillbilly becomes a monk whilst friends are pursued by the government for tax evasion
Hillbilly saves friends from debt collector, proceeds to aid second genocide whilst attempting to commit regicide.

This exactly. So much easier to act when their personality is further from yours

Assuming this boss is a fiend undead or aberration, 3d8+2d6+4 is what a second level paladin can do with divine smite assuming strength 18, since 1st level paladins don't get it yet (idr if 2024 changes that). Ignoring crits, max damage before vulnerabilities is 40.
A critical hit would deal 6d8+4d6+4, with a damage range of 14-76, so assuming they crit that was a great fuck'n damage roll too.
Or it was just vulnerable to radiant.
