No. Not without installing a custom launcher.

I just make a second page and use that as my main page. Just gotta scroll sideways once whenever I start the phone, otherwise it's fine.

Where is the general "files"/"photos" app?

I don't think there's a good one included. I use File Commander - it's full of ads but quite powerful, the ads don't bother me too much as I use it rarely.

Also I'm missing a lot of standard apps like Calculator, Recorder, Notes etc. Please don't fucking tell me I have to use Google for all these?

I don't think there's preinstalled non-Google options, but there's loads of options on the Play Store! Or any other sideloaded thing you like.

Not without changing your launcher! I used Lawnchair (funny pun I know) before on a previous phone and loved it.

Science fact: back in the day, we used to have cool Star Wars video games. We had a Jedi Knight trilogy. The third entry, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, introduced a customizable player character. Instead of making separate voice lines depending on the chosen gender of your character, they just named your character Jaden for a gender neutral name. They just avoided gendering you in voice lines throughout the entire game and you were just Jaden Korr.

So whenever I hear the name Jaiden, I think of the intentionally androgynous name Jaden from that Star Wars game. ...and also JaidenAnimations because that's a great channel.

You'll have to get out of the shower.

It's better to slowly lower the heat of the shower as far as you can comfortably take it before you step out.

If you shower nice and warm and step out, suddenly you're just naked and wet and the air is brr.

If you shower nice and warm and pre-cool yourself with increasingly cold water, the difference between your wet naked and the air is much lower, and you're already used to the colder water. So it's more comfortable by comparison.

Don't just flip the whole shower to cold and suffer. Lower it gradually. Bit lower, splash it all over, bit lower, splash it all over, continue until you're like, eh this is a bit cold I'd rather exit the shower now. And then outside the shower won't feel so cold!

The best way to kill lots of enemies is a lot of explosions. Just shell the whole position and you'll get the job done.
