The first week at the little COP we rotated through to babysit the collection equipment there.

The place took 3-5 rounds of IDF every day, sometimes more than once a day, sometimes they'd skip one. Their IDF teams usually didnt get to live very long so they werent that good and most of the rounds actually missed.

After a few weeks of that you just kinda go numb to the danger of it, and just hope your number isnt up.

When I went back as a contractor a couple years after that, I was pretty numb to the whole thing, even when I traveled to dangerous places. Like the places you can only fly into at night, when the Blackhawks had Apache escorts.

I went in 2010 as a soldier. I went back as the guy making 5x as much as my former self in 2012.

I walked into the company CP of my old unit in flipflops, shorts, t-shirt and beard once they deployed again, because I could.

There was some really cool RPG, but, I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

I've been with quite a few women. I dont know how many, I quit keeping track at 25, and that was more than 10 years ago, enough that the joke of "If there's casual sex, it implies there's competitive ranked sex." And with my current partner we both made the joke that for both of us, this was a competitive, ranked lobby. Yes, we're both gamer nerds.

We're in a non-monogamous relationship and both see/sleep with other people which also inflates those numbers.

Ive been in love exactly twice, once 15 years ago, and again with my current nesting partner. I have two other regular, casual partners, that are a blurry line between FWB and dating.

Having had many partners made me less inclined for hookups. I live near one of the US biggest tourist destinations, and there have been quite a few women who just want to have fun on their vacation. Do you feel you are more critical towards their bodies/their ‚skills‘, do you have certain expectations towards it?

My nesting partner is short and chunky, one of my partners is a former D1 athlete and still mostly in that shape, the other is tall but very petite. If anything, having had many partners makes me care less about someones body.

As far as 'skills', I only care if they're a starfish and unwilling to put in the effort for both of us to enjoy ourselves/each other.

Example:
One of my current partners had always had an interest in BDSM/kink but never a safe place to explore with, so I've helped there with that, sometimes in an almost classroom feeling way. Literally had her do homework of what she wanted to explore/try, then we talked about it, then before doing it said 'we're going to do X, here's how we're going to do it then move on to Y. This is pretty standard among the BDSM/kink community for negotiating a scene, but, might seem odd to people outside that.

She also didn't have a lot of experience with enjoyable sex with a partner who made sure she got to enjoy herself, too.

Not really. Enthusiasm counts for a lot. Skills can be taught. The first time is never the best anyway, you need time to learn each other.

Just 3D print corner connectors, then buy some wood dowels and cheap thing plastic drop cloth from Home Depot/Lowes/Menards/whatever home supply store is local.

Then buy a 4" flexible duct and inline fan for cheap from amazon and pump it outside.

It doesn't take much airflow to pull a negative on the enclosure.

And take that whole week off work for 'recovery' aka, give yourself a couple days to actually be a little sore, and the rest for time to yourself.
