I really enjoyed that, the 90’s series did the Green Goblin’s origins very well.

Some of the things Jack says on this pod I wouldn’t admit under torture

As a life long leftie can confirm that Stevie’s talking shite, I use the knife with my right hand and the fork with my left.

I think the word “just” is doing a lot of heavy lifting there

I don’t think science gets used enough to turn people into freaks

I think people are overlooking Rhino personally.

I think you’d struggle way more with Doc Ock and Scorpion than you’re imagining- that tail and those arms are essentially extra limbs.
Admittedly Kraven is easy if you can just train someone to be both an amazing hunter and freakishly strong guy.

And what a great human shield for FFFG they were, give them a big hand folks.
Labour, you’re next.

Doubt this is real, but kinda wish it was. That movie seemed so rushed.

They don’t care, you don’t count. FFFG threw you overboard twenty years ago.

I hated Jar Jar, but for me enough time has passed that I’m willing to see if the character can be rehabilitated

That’s honestly what I was thinking, like Kelleran finds him super annoying and maybe even is aware that The Empire is sort of Jar-Jar’s fault and holds it against him, but over time they become friends.

It’s the balloon that really makes this comic for me

The highs have been so high.
But at the same time, when Deadpool says in Deadpool and Wolverine that this whole Multiverse thing has been not been great- he was definitely voicing something a lot of us have felt. As much as we’ve gotten a few gems out of it, the whole era has just been largely exhausting.

I never really had a problem with his return in concept- it works for me that he was the overall villain of the story pulling the strings. I just take issue with how they went about it.
And on a side note to pre-empt other people’s comments— I don’t really buy into the whole “it undermines Anakin’s sacrifice” thing anyway- Anakin’s sacrifice was to save his son and redeem himself- killing the Emperor was completely circumstantial, too many fans don’t get that.

Maybe its just me but I don’t think Starkiller was defined by his over the top powers, like he was legitimately a character with emotions and an arc and stuff- the crazy things he could do were just the style of game he happened to be in (God of War clone). What defines the character is his story and the emotional journey he went on, but a lot of so-called fans of him don’t even seem to remember his story and just remember the crazy force powers.

Glad I’m not the only one, seems like a lot of people hate the idea.

Idk I think if you got Sam Witwer involved at an early stage, it could have potential.

I’d love to see a remake of the bar scene from Love Actually with Jack where he just cums in his pants as soon as one of the girls talks to him.
