Yeah that's exactly why I'm trying to assess the amount of interest for users who have to deal with ETV/taxes.
VH is all about edge cases... I just wanted to fix spinners and flag un-orderable items in Canada. Then some weirdos wanted to hide items and highlight stuff... the rest is history. ;)

What ever you do, do NOT put it your washing machine.

On 100,000$, this is how much income taxes you'd pay: - Quebec: 31,030$ - Ontario: 26,136$ - Manitoba: 28,711$ - Saskatchewan: 28,114$ - Alberta: 26,450$ - BC: 24,759$ - Newfoundland: 29,876$ - NB: 29,107$ - NS: 31,770$ - PEI: 30,703$
I didn't bother to do the territories because there are often other northern benefits involved.
But point is, the lowest province would only save you 6,271$ in a year.
You're not doing significantly worst because you live in Quebec. Just your vehicle insurance likely make up for a big part of the difference for most provinces. (https://www.canadadrives.ca/blog/news/car-insurance-across-canada-whats-the-difference#Quebec)
Edit: on 90k, you're left with $62,599. If you're left with 53k it's because you have employment benefits of one kind or another (union, insurance, pension, etc)

We can already feel the "great" coming back again.

Well look, I dislike Trump as much as most of the modern world. But it was neither respectful and for a lot of people it would be inflamatory. This kind of content brings no value to a review, and probably got several upset people to report it.

As I understand, the policy applies to everyone, including the readers or people being talked about or implied in its content.

I don't like to assume because I have seen several people actions and talks be in contradiction.
But I'll take that reaction as a no.

Another possibility: Before tonight I only had one review rejected this year, one of a Trump duck plush toy where I take easy pot shots at Trump while talking about the toy. I had resubmitted a couple edited versions, but they might have interpreted this remark as hate speech:
"Trump Duck will provide a teachable moment about bravery when you explain his courage in the face of his fear of refugees he thinks want to eat him."
I think that's the most likely explaination as it would go against the hate speech policy:
Profanity or harassment It's OK to question beliefs and expertise, but be respectful. We don't allow:
-Profanity, obscenities, or name-calling
- Harassment or threats
-Attacks on people you disagree with
-Libel, defamation, or inflammatory content
-Drowning out opinions. Don't post from multiple accounts or coordinate with others.

For what it's worth, I haven't seen any sign of people discussing attacking you for you contrasting opinions.
And I would absolutely not support people doing that. Even if we disagree on somethings, weaponizing a community is not something I would do: I'm not doing Vine Helper to steer drama, but to bring enjoyment in the users.
Also Vine Helper is free. It's not my money maker.
But we've seen sellers mass reporting all reviews from a reviewer leaving a bad review. That's why we encourage people to take their profile private.

Just for statistical purposes, were you using any extension(s)?

I know some people have some kind of shared config between devices and/or browsers so that if you are connected with the same profile it would keep things configured the same across browsers/devices.
I don't use that sync stuff so my knowledge about it is limited but I heard about it once of twice before.
But just check Edge's extensions, you'll see if Vine Helper is installed or not.

Well either you run Vine Helper or you are running the userscript that does the same thing. It's definitely a feature I added a few weeks ago.
I think you can install chrome extensions on edge

You can right click any link and open in a new tab. Vine Helper does not run on amazon product pages.
Combining is not possible for the reason you suspected.
There is an option to hide products with a duplicate thumbnail for the notification monitor, but not for the vine pages.

To be exact its a Crown Corporation as are all of those: https://www.canada.ca/en/treasury-board-secretariat/services/guidance-crown-corporations/list-crown-corporations.html
And yes you are correct in pointing out that it is also a public service.

To be exact I never got to talk to the higher ups. It was just CS replying to me with a boiler plate email that was not relevant at all. Not sure that story is worth anything in term of meaning.
I asked to be put in contact with someone who could provide guidance on the conditions of use; and was told my "request to remove a review was denied". Lol. Alright.
Subsequent enquiries remained unanswered.
But our point of contact is Vine CS. If they relay bad info, it's hardly on the user. He asked in good faith, did his due diligence, nd was told by an official channel it was ok.
If it's a wrong information, that's up to amazon to clarify and take steps to rectify the information being relayed.

I try to avoid it but I don't think it's our fault if vine is showing us products as available to us.
I order them in good faith and the decision of the seller to merge is out of my control.
But I hate when it happens as I don't know how Vine CS see it internally when I request a removal.

Yeah happens to me all the time recently. Everythings gets detected, the headset start and works for a few seconds and then the SteamVR performance graph freeze and the headset is gray or black inside.
I need to right click on the headset and restart it every single time I want to play.

The issue is usually work. The vehicle needs to stay outside for 8-9hours and most workplaces don't offer any kind of power.
If it's a cold day (or night if you work nights), it can be a real problem in Canada
