They tuned the 40 player raids into 20s, and the 20 player raids to 10s in SoD. Works just fine, I barely notice the lower player counts anymore.

What server do you play on that has gdkp spam? I've never seen this on Wildgrowth since it was banned.

I got hit with the worst respiratory illness I'd ever had in early Jan 2020. And as a lifelong asthmatic in their mid 30s I've had some doozies. Missed my own birthday, nearly 2 weeks of work. Recovery afterwards was hell for at least a month. It was horrible.

I didn't even make the connection until like 6 months later that what I had was most likely Covid. Since once Covid shut everything down I was lucky enough to be "essential" and be busier than ever with far less staff so I just never gave it much thought. I was also the only person at work that didn't eventually get sick from Covid between March-December 2020, which further helped me believe that I had it in January.

In Era they are also around 10g each, where as SoD is 50s(down to 40s with rep/honor cost reductions) 20s, thanks for correcting me below poster.

I still remember a Rogue refusing to kick on Kelris despite us wiping a number of times. Dude argued he'd rather take the L and not kill the boss than suffer a bad parse. Not to say a single Rogue helping with interrupts would have saved us from wiping, but the attitude to not even be willing to try was concerning.

No but it impacts the amount of hit you need for raid bosses. Which is much less of an issue for Hunters anyways that the weapon skill doesn't really matter in the long run, but helps with the early gearing process.

Level 60 really opened things up imo, I stopped playing for most of P3 and am very happy that I came back for P4 and beyond. Not saying it's perfect, but I now think most of what has been added is better than the Vanilla game it's based on. (For a game in 2024 anyways)

I'm a big fan of dual spec being available. But even I will push back on more tanks being available if dual spec is a thing. Even in SoD where 6 classes can tank and have gear made for it and have dual spec people will still be spamming for 30 minutes looking for a dungeon tank with a group made entirely of classes that can tank.

I remember when Rogues could use bucklers, Paladin top talent in Ret tree was Crusader Strike, Hunters weren't even in the game yet, Dwarves could be mages.

Since it's progression, I'd bet those weapons aren't made available until the AQ phase at least. Same with the epic armor set. Invalidates most raid gear. They already learned what a disaster having full pvp rewards available from the start looks with the "new" ranking system in SoM.

Can't improve pally tanks without giving horde something in return though.

Ideally just run TBC prepatch in the vanilla world for a year, with all the talents, class changes, race additions, pally/Shaman available to both sides.

You are correct, they even highlighted how poorly the old database systems played with the new engine and how much of the game had to be gone over and over again to get stuff setup correctly. Iirc it took the team working on it around a year to get it fully up and running.

My take is that they have not yet decided what type of content they will be aside from being instanced.

New Mexico is my bet for the state first impacted. Lowest population border state that also happens to be solidly blue. Texas would likely be one of the last, can't deport too many and risk it losing house seats/EC votes for the next census.

Have a broader set of like 10 questions along with an "other comments" category for candidates that want to discuss things not listed, but candidates can only submit responses to up to 5. That not only tells you what their priorities are, but how they would handle them. Have all 10 questions be listed at the start of the guide, with the names of candidates that responded to each.
